I can see why it'd worry them. Time to be as useful and friendly as possible. At least I can invent a whole new cuisine to distract them... but my deformity is more strange than debilitating. I'm assuming others have it worse?

Yes. I mean, I'm missing half of a leg but I always am. My prosthetic doesn't fit a wolf leg.

You should note that their tech level is low and it seems like their food is limited. No spices as far as I've smelled so far, a little salt... they have the beginnings of alcohol, that's the stage we're at.

Also don't trust the midges. The little black flies everywhere...

Ah.... you have my sympathies. I know dogs can get around without one leg, but the way people are built here... the weight of your torso must be throwing that all off.

I'll look to see if I can find some local spices they've overlooked. I've been good at rooting out them before. [Yes, a pun.]

I've been warned already; I spoke with some close friends privately before I arrived. The Walkabout is in Questing Country. I plan to give more information later once I've settled. ... it seems my Spirit Companion might not have made it over or landed somewhere else.

Tribulation Island. It was sealed off long ago and is a source of Nightmares. With the seal weakening once more, they've decided to deal with it once and for all instead.

Eugh. I might have had trouble over there - my overlay was really young last time, so I don't know how that would have worked out.

Ahh... then it's likely good you aren't on that side. I have vague memories of how terrible nightmares were at that age.

No, he was in Questing Country almost all the time, he could deal with nightmares. It just depends when it is - he might be older or not even born yet.

Ah. I misunderstood then. I suppose being a baby, fetus, embryo, or nothing at all would put a damper on one's career in that place.

Pretty much! And he was cute, but lonely. So no thanks... even if this jaunt is stressful, I think we can do some real good here.
