Jaunt| Late Week 2
Hey, guys! It's Robo Prompto again! I made it all the way to one of the towers to see what's messing it up, and it looks like it was purposefully rigged to fail. I was able to fix it and get it working like it was supposed to.
Even locked it with a password so no one can screw with it again! Haha!
But there's like.. at least seven more of these towers and from what I can tell, they're all messed up.
I can probably rig a quick way to download the fix, kinda like a virus? If anyone wants to help out and head to a tower, that would be awesome. I can show you what to do so we can get it done quick!
The biggest problem is going to be that the air out here is really toxic, so whoever is gonna go out needs some protection.

What sort of toxic? If there's at least oxygen, my cooking abilities may provide protection against the bad part of the air.

Well, yeah. That's why I put a password!
And.. think of pretty much every sort of pollution that exists of all mixed together. Then saturate a planet in it for decades.

Which will protect the tower from outside access until someone can physically reroute the network. Physical access is the other half of the equation... one they neglected to solve to our benefit.
[Ignis is vaguely amused he only knows any of this because of how much planning and work he had overheard about rerouting some of the Citadel's network... and because of the security teams just hammering physical access home in the yearly briefings. Across the universe and in a completely different world, it still comes down to basic operational security. There's no escaping it, is there?]
That's far more than a simple poison, then. Best not to risk breathing it in. It's a good thing you have your dream body.

-=he got this bro. it's like the one thing he's good at=-
And yeah, it's gross. You can actually see it in the air. This is the first time I'm glad this body doesn't have lungs!

[You've entirely got this, and Ignis can admit where he lacks knowledge and suggests something wrong. There's a warm, proud feeling from Ignis there!]
I'm glad for it as well. It seems they weren't prepared for someone like you just walking right in and messing with their equipment.

-=it's way easier to sneak around places when there aren't magitek soldiers shooting at you from every corner. it's a lot less stressful=-
Nobody expects the robot inquisition!

I can't go myself, sorry.
[Not gonna risk the baby.]

But I, uh... don't know if I can make drugs. I never tried? Is it hard?

And I really need to learn that template thing. Sounds handy!

[He's excited to actually help and do something and also this sounds like something out of a sci fi novel. Great for getting his mind off of things.]

I'm also excellent with technology, so that shouldn't be a problem either.

And cool! Meet me in liminal space! I can show you what I made. It's idiot proof! -=hopefully=-
no subject
I'll be there soon, just give me a few moments...
[Sure enough, he'll show up in the next fifteen minutes or so.]

-=when he gets there, said robot self is a good 7ft tall and sporting four arms. he's working with his data disk, some small device, and petting his dog all at the same time. he mostly still looks like himself, though his expressions aren't nearly as expansive as would be usual=-
no subject
[Sento gives him a wave when he arrives. Four arms? That's cool. That would be useful in the lab. He is a little jealous.]
Well, I'm ready to get started.

[He's eager to have something important to help with. No defenses against the toxic air, but he figures that's something that can be work-shopped.]

[Give him a sec, this is still new to him.]
Do you want to meet anywhere specific?
[As far as specific goes in Liminal Space that is.]
lol i'm not even sure what liminal looks like
And chocobos!

[About twenty minutes later Prompto will see a silver haired teen walking towards his door. The yellow doors are pretty hard to miss. So is the robot guy standing nearby. He'd said his name over the network...]
Um...Prompto?
