Everyone, there's been a... the thing blowing up, I don't think it was a shot from either side, it's--

[ focus, headcase, focus. ] A sithen I met a while ago, only he looks like he's become an angel again, a-and I remember him from Harrogate, he was m-- the innkeeper's son. It's like Tobi and Donna and Jordie, someone who keeps showing up. If someone can help keep an eye on him I I I'd appreciate it.

[ nevermind that it's 'just' Robin, that Ambrose hadn't realized before, he believes he has a lead here. ]

Innkeeper's son...

[He has to search his memory for a minute - especially near the end, Harrogate gets to be a rather unpleasant and difficult to parse blur of awful - but he remembers that face well enough, considering the time he was at the inn and the boy's involvement with the actors...as much as he'd like to not remember any of that.]

I remember him. Haven't seen him here yet, though - where'd you see him?

Sithen quarters, it-- someone's killed a member of his family, a brother I think. I dunno if this is a distraction from the armies or not but there's a chance there's a threat inside the city too.

[It's mostly dry, rather than bitter, to his credit. Sometimes Hijikata has to work kind of hard to make things come out that way, after everything.]
