Anyone else who's been confined to a mermaid form, please come see me. Thanks to a heads-up from a local, I've been able to recreate the vaccine and cure for the disease that causes the Stricken condition, and I would suggest that everyone receive an inoculation as soon as possible. I'd also like to make overtures towards the resident mermaids offering them the same protection, though I confess the representative I ran into earlier was not at all impressed by my genius when we last met. I've also got a rudimentary blowgun setup that I think I can leverage to weaponize the vaccine delivery, though I'd rather not resort to such crude methods.

There's a young girl named Saya here; I've taken her on as a pupil for the time being. She's very dedicated to learning the art of medicine--which isn't my forte but I can certainly provide a grounding in the scientific basics--and so she'll pass this on if no one else will. She's the one who alerted me to the fact that such a vaccine had existed here in the past.

I've had her bring me some items from the local markets. I'm confident it can be replicated with native materials, so we should be in good shape.
