[Jaunt] [Week 2 Start] Prompto makes the BEST decisions

-=anyone out in the fight right now may actually spy a Cataphract that doesn't seem to have the greatest handle on it's flying. Oddly enough, it's pretty damn spot on when using that lance as a range weapon, though it seems to be only disabling the other fighters, not destroying them=-

HAHAAH! So I may have stolen a mech from the aliens and I'm trying to get over to mars to help but they're kinda really mad at me and the EDSF are probably gonna be mad at me too so does anyone have a code or something to keep the Earth people from shooting at me!?!?

-=of course he was gonna steal the best mech he could get his technology oriented super powered fingers on. not the most tactically sound decision though because it made some of them extra mad=-

Was I incorrect in judging that you'd completely disregard the verbal warning?

[The next shot is also meant to disable, but Hacet can spot the dissonance between piloting skill and results so he's also testing. So he doesn't press the attack just yet, even though his sylph clearly could attack more quickly and with more weapons than he's using.]

I will give you a brief one now, since you insist. Twenty seconds to announce your surrender. If you're fleeing because you caught the bioweapon virus, you will be shown mercy.

Starting now.

[Hacet does indeed wait the full twenty seconds. However, if Prompto doesn't start surrendering within that time he flies in close, attempting to upset that desperate piloting. He also has some close combat weapons he can bring to bear.]

Hacet doesn't believe it for a moment, but he's willing to play along while he waits for an opportune moment to line up a good shot.

"Return with me to quarantine so we can help treat you. Our medics have made vast improvements on lessening the worst effects."

That is, perhaps, something of an exaggeration, but it's also exactly what someone infected and terrified would need to hear to reassure them.
