[pre-Jaunt mingle] It's that time again

Now that everything seems to be proceeding as normal again, it's apparently also time for prophetic nightmares. Last night I dreamt of running through dusty streets past crumbling buildings, knowing that I was being hunted and that calling for help would reveal me to whatever was pursuing me. My vision was obscured by clouds of dust, and the ground was shaking badly, and there was a definite sense that whatever was chasing me was an impossible and overwhelming foe.

Given the current state of Liminal Space, it was less than comforting.

...it's not even upsetting anymore that this could describe more than one potential jaunt we've been on, it's just annoying.

That sounds like a kaiju attack.

Are we going to need to fight with Godzilla, or worse, with Cthulhu.

Effing hell.

Likely after your time. Movie about a gigantic monster tired of getting nuked every time the US and Japan tested a shiny new Hydrogen Device, and taking it out on Tokyo.

Started an entire genre of movies with the, ah, sentient hurricane-level destructive force that's a kaiju just utterly going to town on coastal cities.

I really, really hope I'm wrong about this.

CW nuclear warfare?

I am now pretty certain that we'll need to prepare for a kaiju attack, if only because it's Magician, Justice and Judgement, none of whom are known for possessing a microgram of chill.

[Private, Protected]
You predate nuclear weapons on your world, don't you.

Imagine a bomb capable of creating a miniature sun for a fraction of a second. A hydrogen fusion bomb. A thermonuclear device.

In my timeline America dropped two on Japan at the end of a world war. It sort of became an obsession in Japanese art, understandably.
