So I'm really not sure what to make of this, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't bode well.

The Conductor role is not a natural growth on the part of Questing Country, the way Adversaries were.

Being fair, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Synthetics, Diabolin and the baby Starmovers didn't show up naturally, either, and I think most people would agree that those new perspectives are worth having around. [You know. Now that the Starmovers aren't terrifying everyone because they don't know how to talk to toolstuff.]

But I'm definitely more concerned about the artificial imposition of an entire subclass of dreamers than I am about the new arrivals being deliberately introduced.

I think it started off with 'keep the Grid locked down' type shit but by the time I was runnin' purple it was more about making viral data serve the Grid as a whole.

I will admit I try not to think of the Grid but that makes sense to me. Well, partial sense at least.

I feel like I know not where to start unravelling this particular mess.
