Chizuru might already realise by now after all this time that her disguise doesn't really hold up when people hear her voice or interact with her - the Shinsengumi noticed it right away, for the most part, and in this place a lot of people seemed to be able to tell her gender fairly instantly too.
But this is the first time where she's been taken for a girl and then the person decided they might be wrong.. for a moment she wonders if she should just let Sei think that and keep up her disguise, but she knows too many people in this place realise the truth anyway, so it can't be too much of a problem to give it away. Besides, she feels like lying to Sei would be a little cruel by now. ]
