Ah, Randolph Lyall here... and I just... wanted to apologize for my disgraceful performance during the last phase of this questing game. If anyone ran into the full-moon-wolf version of me, I am deeply, deeply sorry, and I hope I didn't actually hurt anyone. I only remember parts of the whole thing, but I remember enough to know I at least menaced quite a few people before I was subdued.

I have never hidden the fact that I am a werewolf, but I'm afraid I should really have been more clear about what exactly that means, and to more people. Every full moon, I quite literally lose my mind and try to kill anyone and anything in my way. Or even out of my way, if I smell them and can get to them. Usually I lock myself up for such things, but I wasn't expecting this one and, well, most rooms and boxes and the like simply won't hold me for long, these days.

It turns out that liminal space is something of a moon-free zone, however, so if anyone ever comes across my like that, a portal and a good shove will solve the problem. And on that note... if there's anyone here who knows how to make them and is willing to teach me, I would really appreciate it. It might mean I can avoid this happening again, if I'm quick enough to act when I feel the change starting. The last thing I want is to hurt anyone.

I'm all right. Nothing can really hurt me for long, unless it's made out of silver. I'm really more concerned about what I might have done to other people.

I'd appreciate the teaching, though. Is there something I can offer you in return? I'm... not sure how much I can actually teach, honestly. I haven't been here very long.

But if you really want a biology lesson, I could certainly do that. ... I suppose any of the children here are missing schooling, just by being here, aren't they?

Yeah. I mean, I don't really know what I'm missing, but I don't really want to repeat sixth grade if I don't have to.

I'm not as familiar with elementary school subjects, but I can do my best. How many other kids are there, here? I'm not sure of everyone's ages, I'll admit, and I know at least some of us look... deceptively young.

I'm in middle school. [excuse you this means he is an adult now ok] And, um... Ken is around my age, but I haven't seen him at all this Jaunt. [which worries him.] I think everyone else is a teenager.

I know more about how to teach teenagers, but I also imagine they'll be less interested in lessons.

If anyone else is listening, I'll be happy to offer some sort of... catch-up schooling, in anything I can competently talk about, if anyone's interested.

What can you teach?

Biology and health are my actual areas of expertise, if you can say that. But I can do math, physics, some English probably, I was tutoring English to German students back home. I don't think I could manage history, though, unless you wanted to know what Victorian England was like for a werewolf or vampire.

You know, I'm not entirely sure? I mean, I know you have an English class, a history class, a math class of some sort... and whatever science they teach in that level. Had you had any classes at all before you were taken for this mess?

Yeah. I was in American History, English, Algebra, Science, PE, Theater, Study Hall, and French. [yeah apparently they're still in 'general sciences' in sixth grade in NJ ~~no i didn't look it up shut up~~]

Algebra, I could help with. Science in general, too. I'm afraid I don't speak French, though, and American History is right out.

That's ok. I don't remember much of either of those. [Maybe he can still count in French. Maybe.]

Well, then. If you'd like lessons in any of those, I can see what I can do. As long as you want them for.

I imagine lunar cycles would be hard to predict while world-hopping.

And when jumping into a world that apparently, for a little while at least, used multiple moons to tell time... they were all full when that particular session of the quest began. I had three of them at once.

I-- mostly spirit companions, I think... I bit Hajime, but I imagine he's fine. Most of the people I tried to attack had protectors. Those spirit companions I fought with. Do they heal?

I can't say if they do or not; I haven't seen any injured.

I learned to make portals after my first few Jaunts, if you still need the help.

A young lady named Minako gave me a few pointers, but I won't turn down additional help, or drills, for that matter. I want to make very certain I can make one of these at a split second's notice, the instant I feel a surprise full moon pull, if this sort of thing ever happens again.

It would be in everyone's best interest for you to be proficient at it. [Even for people who might be more easily able to handle combating that form, it's a waste of time and energy that could be better spent elsewhere.]

That's what I thought. So I suppose-- I'm swimming about right now, but I could meet you someplace, if that's convenient.
