Man, the Trumps sure know how to throw a welcome-back party. Too bad there's probably no deaf, dumb and blind kids around, I hear they play a mean pinball.

So. That was an unpleasant little side quest, don't recommend it, don't wanna talk about it. How far along are we from the Grid? What'd I miss?

Also, FYI, as soon as I can work out how I'm willing to make lightcycles for anyone who missed out. Still a work in progress, though, so don't all come running at once.

Oh, did you miss Computer Land? They're pretty sweet rides. I think I'd be able to recreate them, but I'm still feeling things out.

I seriously need to catch up on the Grid in general, I missed literally all the excitement.

The Hell thing was my first one, so yeah, I think I missed computers. Don't know that I can really help you with catching up.

I can help with motorcycle-related stuff, maybe. I know a lot about engines and things.

They're... not exactly motorcycles. Otherwise, as long as I could get someone to make materials for me I could whip one of those up right away.

I'm really good at fighting stuff on motorcycles. This sounded like it might be fun to fight off of, too.

No, they look like motorcycles - most of 'em do, anyway. You were right about that much. But they're entirely digital. I'm not sure I'd be able to boot one up, but otherwise I think I can handle the rest of the process, or I'm close to it.

How would that even work, digital motorcycles in a non-digital space? Some kind of solid light?

No, the solid light trails behind them. Did in the first place, too. The cycles themselves are pretty damn solid once they unfold.

...so they could be, say...rammed into an opponent in the middle of a fight? They'd hold up for that sort of thing? I...can be kind of hard on bikes.

Well, if you're fighting on them I wouldn't expect anything less. I could probably make one sturdy enough to take that kind of blow, long as I go in with that in mind.

I'm not there yet, though. And I'm not giving anyone anything while this is a work in progress.

Yeah, anything I ride would have to handle combat pretty well.

But if it's a work in progress you'd need someone to help test things, right?

To test something I need to make it first. I can get the idea in my head, but I haven't been able to actually make one yet. I'm still missing something.
