Open Broadcast (Walkabout)
[The message is slightly strained, as the paralysing spell the dragon put on Matthew hasn't quite worn off completely yet]
Get us out!
Get us out!

Do you know how you got there in the first place?

What kind of tomb is it?
no subject
Why?!
And it's the kind of tomb where someone felt like decorating all of the walls with skulls. And bones. And more skulls. They're even embedded into the ceiling, in nice decorative patterns that make us want to smash all of them into pieces, because there are fucking skulls everywhere. And it's not like someone hasn't already desecrated them all by using them for interior decoration!
no subject
hmm. Is it underground? If so I might be able to help you out.
no subject
Yes. There's dirt and rocks behind the skulls. I know this, because I've had an entire week of having no choice but to stare at them!
no subject
[Not... that he knows how he's going to find this guy in the first place, but hey. He won't get lost down there.
He'll just be a little green when he gets there. :D?]

And that works out well, since I'll be able to navigate pretty well down there but I wasn't sure how I was going to find him in the first place. [Teamwork!]

Through sheer force of will, Matthew has somehow managed to not violently murder every skull he can find. For a given value of 'murder', seeing as all the skulls were dead already.
Instead, he managed to distract himself by systematically going through every single body part and making sure that they really can move them now. And then they check everything again, just to be sure. By the time Naoki and Sansa are near, they've gotten up to checking that all of the toes on their left foot wiggle obediently when he tells them to.

Well, right now it's tentacles. It's a thing.
"Oh good, it worked. Let's get going before the dragon comes back, shall we?"
no subject
"I agree- we should leave." She says softly.
no subject
"Yes! Leaving! Leaving is good!" they say, hastily shoving their sock and shoe back onto their left foot, before standing up. The process looks entirely ungainly and awkward, seeing as at this point 'movement of limbs' is still somewhat of a new and exciting experience after the last week. "Point me in the direction of the exit and I am so there."
no subject
"Back the way we came, then. Don't worry, I'll be able to find it."

The catacombs have been here long enough to be a bit of a labyrinth, but no worse than any dungeon he's seen. And the whole reason he did the Gorgon thing in the first place is because it makes it far easier to navigate this kind of place. He's keeping out ahead of whatever light Sansa brought (really, it's not helping him much at all), but close enough that she and Matthew can still see where he's going.
It's a long walk, but pretty uneventful.

"Yup. Totally fine. And I will be even more fine when I am somewhere that is absolutely not here," he says, stubbornly refusing to admit that after a week of paralysis in a cavern under the ground, he is far, far from 'fine'.
no subject
Still, better things to do than fuss about that.
"Could be worse. At least the dragon was more interested in impersonating you than doing anything to you directly. Incidentally, you're probably going to have a lot of people blaming you for inhaling a horde of puppies."
no subject
"It shouldn't be too much further, and we can get you somewhere safe. ... And a warm bath, perhaps." She crinkles her nose slightly- but it's the only sign of disturbance that she'll show, though internally she might be a little annoyed by the situation. "It shall be fine. We know it wasn't his fault, the entire... puppy inhaling business." At this, Lady sneezes- but if it's the dust, or something else, is unknown.

He took a deep breath, but it didn't help with the rage, with the fury that someone had dared to to this to them, to pretend to be them while all the while they had been trapped and wondering if they would ever be free again. He clenched his fists, and the inhuman blue in their eyes flashed with anger.
Just as quickly as he'd stopped, he was off again, striding even faster in his haste to get out. "We are going to destroy it," they hissed. "We are going to find it and then we are going to make it regret meeting us."
no subject
Which still leaves the question of what it even wants, but that's for another time.
no subject
I'll just...be here, trying not to get myself cursed for all eternity for destroying some skulls. Even if the skulls totally had it coming...
no subject
I'll be there as soon as I can.

Thank you.

Um. Sorry, who are you?

I'm sorry, I don't actually have any idea where you are.
But we'll work on it.

[after a moment, he adds to that, somewhat begrudgingly]
Thanks.

And I have no idea who Lady is, but if she can find us and lead us away from the dead bodies then she will be our new favourite person slash creature.
no subject
She's my direwolf. She looks frightening, but she is very tame- she will not harm you unless I ask it of her, so please do not be frightened should you see her. I'll try and get some help and head there as soon as possible.
no subject
Actually, never mind. I don't care if you have a pet kraken. Lady can look as scary as she likes, and she will still be our favourite creature ever.

[he pauses for a moment]
Um. Thank you. For looking for us.
