Open Broadcast (Walkabout)

[The message is slightly strained, as the paralysing spell the dragon put on Matthew hasn't quite worn off completely yet]

Get us out!

Two near-strangers and a direwolf is really pushing the amount of company Naoki can stand, at the moment. It'll be better when they get back to the exit and he can let this go. For now, though, he's just going to have to suck it up, and try not to take it out on them.

"Back the way we came, then. Don't worry, I'll be able to find it."

Sansa peers curiously at Matthew's actions- then nods gently. "Are you alright to walk on your own?" She asks, ignoring the tug at the back of her mind that's asking her why she thought coming along on this rescue mission was a good idea.

...It's a really, really good thing his eyes aren't even slightly yellow. Let's just leave it at that. Naoki still wishes he'd pick a pronoun and stick to it, but it looks like that's too much to ask, and anyway, right now leaving is the important thing.

The catacombs have been here long enough to be a bit of a labyrinth, but no worse than any dungeon he's seen. And the whole reason he did the Gorgon thing in the first place is because it makes it far easier to navigate this kind of place. He's keeping out ahead of whatever light Sansa brought (really, it's not helping him much at all), but close enough that she and Matthew can still see where he's going.

It's a long walk, but pretty uneventful.

Sansa's a little weirded out at this point, but her perfectly practiced manners keep her from telling too much. She just smiles politely, nodding her head and holding tightly onto the lantern she's holding- trying not to trip over Lady, who is underfoot as usual. "Oh, good, I'm glad to see you able to move. Are you feeling well in all other aspects?"

If Naoki had to guess, he'd say this guy's significantly less fine than he is, and he's not all that great at the moment. Admittedly, he'd be doing better if he'd dragged Kanji along, but he can always go pester him later. This was kind of important.

Still, better things to do than fuss about that.

"Could be worse. At least the dragon was more interested in impersonating you than doing anything to you directly. Incidentally, you're probably going to have a lot of people blaming you for inhaling a horde of puppies."

Thankfully, Sansa's manners can keep the conversation flowing enough for the three of them. She just nods politely, trying her best to hold her head high -- not too high, because her height is not helping with the entire not getting cobwebs in her hair thing -- but high enough.

"It shouldn't be too much further, and we can get you somewhere safe. ... And a warm bath, perhaps." She crinkles her nose slightly- but it's the only sign of disturbance that she'll show, though internally she might be a little annoyed by the situation. "It shall be fine. We know it wasn't his fault, the entire... puppy inhaling business." At this, Lady sneezes- but if it's the dust, or something else, is unknown.

"They weren't real puppies, just magical constructs. And dragons apparently eat magic. So why it would want to is probably 'it was hungry, and it could.' We're lucky this thing doesn't seem to be terribly subtle, or we'd have no chance to finding it at all."

Which still leaves the question of what it even wants, but that's for another time.
