[Do you know what time it is? It's Baby Livestream Time! Of course, it's more or less always Baby Livestream Time when Wash isn't infiltrated, as everyone is no doubt terribly aware of by now.

Today the feed shows Rose, who has grown considerably over the course of the Jaunt and will need new clothes again. She's also smiling. And sitting in a strange bubble of blankets and soft toys that Wash decidedly did not generate.]

So guess who learned to actually smile!

And apparently to use liminal skills. Psychic, too, but she seems to be keeping those to people she's met.

[Those are a bit more confusing than smiling.]

[River, apparently, has zeroed in on one of those fluffy toys, and even without the advantage of tone, her puzzlement is almost palpable. What are you dreaming up, baby Rose?]

Zoe was one. She didn't fight while we were there, but some of the other Travellers did.

In case it weren't clear, she was doin' a baby cry in our heads to get us to come find her, along with some livestreaming like what Wash's doin' now, and she... made all that, that you're seein'. I ain't sure if that means she's got some kinda liminal manip thing, or if it's because this liminal space is so easy to change up.

And I ain't sure if she's really just pretendin' gravity ain't there at all, or if that's this liminal space, too.

Well, I know they say it's easier to learn languages when you're young. Though I don't know if they meant this young.

Not sure any of "them" ever factored in something like this happening. We weren't even sure if she was going to be linked into the network this early.

Yeah... still didn't quite expect this. She can't see more than about a meter, but now she can show us what's in that meter.

Especially with gladiators. They don't like it when the bookies give long odds of them winning.

Well, babies pick up what they need to know, right? I think I read that in a magazine.

A baby living in Liminal Space would work out what she needs to know to live there, the same way they usually learn to cry and eat without any teaching, I think.

Also oh my god she's adorable.

[Cooing at the baby would have been just fine with him. He's pretty sure Rose is the cutest baby of all time and learning to smile's just made her cuter]

I'm just surprised she can process enough to learn these things already.

Babies are pretty amazing. If she needs any help with psychic powers, I'm...probably not the best expert, but I've had them for well over a year now and I love kids.

I will keep that in mind though. Zoe and I are both a lot better with using liminal space than any of this psychic stuff.
