FELIX MAXIMUS MAGNUS, YOU GET YOUR FURRY ASS BACK HERE OR SO HELP ME IZANAMI.....
[Naoto's angry voice rings out across the network before she cuts herself off.]
My apologies, everyone. I seem to have lost a fat, white cat. He will likely eat all of your food if you are not careful. If you find him please let me know.
[OOC: Feel free to make up Magnus sightings! He's fussy, arrogant, and will eat all of your food.]

[She streams a quick transmission of where she is, not far from the door to the workshop.]
Does that help?
Psychic > in person
[And so, a good bit later there comes a potentially ridiculous sight. One Felix Maximus rightfully delivered with... a sparrow perched (semi)majestically on his head. The sparrow has horns. It also talks. With Malik's voice.]
I think I am safe enough, though it got a bit close when I had him chasing me.
Action forever
[She squats down and pets the cat, who just grumbles a bit.]
Thank you, Malik-san. I appreciate it. I barely know what to do with a Bit that adopted me, let alone a cat.
[She ends up sitting on the ground watching the cat and bird. Magnus has given up trying to either throw off the sparrow or bat at it. He lets out a resigned yowl.]
Re: Action forever
[He fluffs up a bit at her thanks, wings shuffling a little.]
Cats are... fairly self sufficient, I am sure that if you leave out some food and water for him in your rooms he will think of it as home.

[She smiles at the fluffing bird, resisting a temptation to pet its feathers.]
I hope he does. I am getting fond of the furball.
no subject
I am sure he is fond of you as well, as much as a cat can be at any rate. At least hopefully you will not have to worry about kittens, hm?
no subject
I certainly hope not. The last thing we need is Traveler Kittens. I don't want to know what they would end up being able to do.
no subject
Float and breathe fire maybe? Wait I think those are dragons, not kittens.
[Yes, he is trying to make a joke here. Forgive him.]
no subject
That... would not be very good around here. The last thing we need is more fire, literal or figurative.
[And then she pauses, glancing out over the space for a moment, then back to the bird in her hands.]
Thank you, by the way.
no subject
If only more people agreed with that sentiment.
You have no need to thank me, it is only sense to be cautious with who gets taught things. Especially the more... weaponized skills.

[She takes a breath, shaking her head.]
Sometimes I wonder how some of these people got by in their own worlds. There is no logical reason they should not have gotten themselves killed or shunned by others.
no subject
You all seem... comparatively sheltered and coddled to what I am used to.
[He really hopes that's not terribly offensive to point out.]
no subject
My grandfather means well, but he is quite old, and fussy.
[She sighs, glancing down at the sparrow.]
There are things that I feel I can understand better than those twice my age, but there are things that even Maria-chan can do better than I.
no subject
[He just kinda fluffs up, comfortable as he is for the time being.]
You are... not alone in having been trained to be something specific your entire life. I was handed a sword when I was a child and trained to be a warrior in the same war that my father fought in and his father before him.
It may not be much, but you are welcome to complain at me about everyone else over tea if you ever want to. I might have to ask seemingly stupid questions... but the offer is open.

[She pauses, and smiles a tiny bit.]
Perhaps, even with a gap of almost a thousand years, we are not that much different.
I thank you, Malik-san. I will likely take you up on that. You cannot ask any less intelligent questions than many of my acquaintances at school.
[And then, a bright blue light shines between them, and an Emperor card spins between them. She stares for a moment, and then smiles, a tiny, amused smile.]
no subject
[He's in the middle of a chuckle when the light shines, and he flails off her hand to the ground with a flip of wings and horns with a muffled shout when he lands awkwardly in the damp sand.]
What the-?!
no subject
I apologize, Malik-san. That was... my S.Tech acting up. What it was showing is what is called a Social Link in my world, a connection between two people.
no subject
[He'll hop back up, still ruffled from his tumble.]
