I'm Tybalt. I've only just arrived recently. I do have hopes of not staying, but until I can discover the road home, I will endeavor to be comfortable.

My foremost concern regarding comfort is quite in line with your Magnus, actually. Terribly difficult to hunt in a place like this.

There are many here who can make you whatever you wish for food. I am not one of that number, however, people are quite content to help each other with that. If you describe what it is you would like to eat, I am certain someone will make it.

Learning to be self-sufficient, of course, is the best option. I've been told I need to master portals as the first step on that road, but such things are far from my natural skills.

Until then, however, do you have any names I might search out in regards to a meal?

I believe that is how it goes, yes. My own skills tend to be holdover from our various Jaunts.

Kanji has a restaurant that he keeps open for the Travelers to eat. Otherwise, Thorne makes food, as well as Leonardo-swnsei. He is the one who has the large workshop where many of us live.

Holdover's from Jaunts, you say. I admit, I am very inexperienced with this... Traveling business. I believe I've the basics of what a Jaunt is, but more knowledge is always welcome.

Jaunts are our main purpose here, in brief. We are sent to various worlds to affect change in various ways. Unfortunately, we are rarely told what we are to do. When we get to the placws, some of us take on the life and personality of another, called an overlay. It is an unsettling experience, but I find I do learn quite a lot about things because of that.

[She notes the lack of actual thanks, but his appreciation is also noted, and filed away for later.]

The doors are sliding glass, however, following your nose is also possible. It smells quite good.

How often do these Jaunts happen? The particulars of passing time are difficult to determine here, but I would guess at least a week since my arrival.

There is much we do not know about the Trumps or Jaunts themselves. Every so of the we simply... find ourselves in a different place. We are under the supervision, shall we say, of the Trumps, personification of the Tarot Major Arcana. They are the ones where send us, and occasionally show up to speak with us.

Kanji recreates food from my homeworld. It is... quite good, I believe.

Do we have any proof that they are actually personifications of the Tarot, instead of merely other beings pretending? And is there any guaranteed way to convince them to speak with us? I have questions already.
