But.. Yeah. We might have trouble. The ... does anyone know who the hell the Exorcist Corps are? They know about us, and I dunno if they sound like the sorta guys you want round for tea.

Other than that... I think I heard that the royals are here already. Ain't seen any actual sign of 'em but I guess they're keepin' a low profile. And - huh, while we're at it... does anyone know who Joseph Verruy is? I keep hearing the name on the radio. Sounds like there's some kinda trouble there.

...so, uh. Think we might need to get shit straight. Anyone else got anythin' interesting?

I do not remember being Joseph Verruy, but I strongly suspect he was me.

India suspects Britain started the prisoner exchange in bad faith. China's just annoyed with this abuse of British Hegemony interfering with their attempt to be a Totally Peaceful Player You Guys. The Manticorps really want Harold Spock back, so my guess is they're looking to get their hands back on the other half of the exchange.

And if Travelers got plunked into the middle of this mess, it's entirely possible the exchange was supposed to fail.

The Exorcist Corps are a division of the Manticore Knights, started after the Kau Lung thing went south to look out for 'possessions.' At least for now, I think they're more dangerous to infiltrators than to any of us.

Doesn't mean don't be careful, but other than the old guard I don't think they'll be gunning for us right away.

From the sound of it, the Exorcist Corps are the full-on witch hunters of the already autocratic Knights. A mixture of secret police and terrible internal affairs clichés from cop movies.

It's entirely possible we'll need to kill a few of them to complete our objective, whatever it is. Either way, they're the faction most directly opposed to Travelers, even if they think we're Spirits.

They were having this event with free food and, well, you know me and free food. So I went and it turned out they were recruiting too and I figured since the food was good and Rise was there and so was the bird guy and we probably could use someone on the inside of one of these guys...

Anyway, I said I'd join.

They want us to help out the Manticores with their checkpoints which I think is dumb... but otherwise it's okay I guess.
