Drizzt Asks Important Questions

This is Drizzt Do'Urden, and I have a simple question: what does one do in Liminal Space beside read books? It is too small to have anything left to explore, unless one tries to scale the wall.

[He does not sound frustrated, but in a good general mood. Drizzt seems more amused about it than anything, and he figures someone will have a good answer for him.]

I ask because I am afraid boredom begins to strike at my heart with my blades still for so long, and I need something more to combat it properly. Perhaps one of you has advice?

Well, uh, I was planning to show a movie in the next day or so. I think I've got control of this roommaking thing to make a tiny theatre.

I got a Rubik's cube when we looted--er, scavenged for supplies a couple Jaunts ago. You can borrow it, if you want.

First a 'movie' and now a "Rubik's cube". I know neither!

[He twists it around a little bit to demonstrate how it moves.]

[Clawed purple hands? What now? But Drizzt is going to just... shrug that off for a moment, and look at the thing he's being shown.]

I see--it's a puzzle! It looks difficult.

That could be redundant, since depending on one's point of view, the walls of this Liminal Space are scaled to begin with. [There is no mental tone to this statement. Is it a joke? Is it not? Who knows?]

[She kind of figured, given that he's basically a tabletop elf. Or an elf from a tabletop-like world.]

It's like a play! It's a play made of moving pictures projected up on a screen.

Like moving paintings?

[Drizzt sounds confused, but he believes he sort of has the idea. Seeing it in person will certainly help. It's like trying to describe the ocean to his father, really.]

This is true! It certainly does make for easier holds.

Oftentimes, people need some time to recover from the previous jaunt. It can also take time to figure out how your relationships have been affected, if you were infiltrating.

Many people work on learning new skills - either by themselves or from a fellow Traveler - or improving the ones they already have. I usually spend some time trying to get to know the new Travelers too.

If you're going to scale something, the clocks might be the more interesting challenge.

While I have not yet been on a Jaunt, I.. Have need the time to begin reconnecting with my father after several decades of absence, and he has needed time to recover, so I understand the sentiment.

[Is that an invitation, Drizzt wonders? He's certainly not going to invite himself to bother Armin, though.] I would like to understand more about the skills we can now learn and perhaps begin to learn as well. [And then, with amusement:] Else, I will have to forever have to rely on my father's skills to clothe me.

I am good enough at it, although I am sure there are others of far higher skill. Perhaps not enough to reach the top.
