[Ever heard resignation and embarrassment in your head at the same time? Because you are now.]

Before I say anything else: I am all right. Unharmed. Unhurt. Fine.

However, I have been arrested by a Council Enforcer and a member of the Elite Duskling Corps, although I did not catch her name. I believe I am being held near to the center of the city, and I am to speak to one Councilor Verena.

... I would prefer to abide by their laws, and I've only been arrested on suspicion because my saying that I didn't know what assistive devices were, which was taken to be a lie. However, is this truly the best course? I do not see any reason why they would keep me for too long.

[A pause, then a bit of a chuckle.]

Please make sure my father Zaknafein does not do anything rash this time. I am truly unharmed, Father.

I don't think anyone can blame him for the impulse. Hopefully he'll wait to actually do it until you're on the way out.

Of course not--he's my Father. And he's been in battle long enough to know the proper sequence of killing everyone, rescuing me, and then torching the place for good measure to hide our tracks. I do not worry much over him being injured.
