[Later in the 1st Week, OTA] After Drizzt Gets Arrested....

[Ever heard resignation and embarrassment in your head at the same time? Because you are now.]

Before I say anything else: I am all right. Unharmed. Unhurt. Fine.

However, I have been arrested by a Council Enforcer and a member of the Elite Duskling Corps, although I did not catch her name. I believe I am being held near to the center of the city, and I am to speak to one Councilor Verena.

... I would prefer to abide by their laws, and I've only been arrested on suspicion because my saying that I didn't know what assistive devices were, which was taken to be a lie. However, is this truly the best course? I do not see any reason why they would keep me for too long.

[A pause, then a bit of a chuckle.]

Please make sure my father Zaknafein does not do anything rash this time. I am truly unharmed, Father.

Exactly. It is about the 'war', not the 'battle'.

That I do. My father is going to be picking me up. [A bit of a chuckle.] And to think that I can now be considered a "troublesome youth".

[Well, Zaknafein did say that Drizzt should try to be a bit more a child. Now it seems like it has backfired tremendously!]

Elphaba is accompanying him and will be doing most of the talking. However, the thing that will stay his hand moreso is that it would hurt my heart to see him errantly harm anyone.

[A bit of a sad chuckle.]

My father loves me more than anything, so I do have an unusual amount of sway in the actions he chooses.

Thank you. Everything should be all right, I believe. These people are not evil, and I did nothing wrong. It will just take time to secure my release, and the only thing that will be wounded is my pride.
