[Video] [Open] Drizzt got Trumped; 1st Night of "Bones & Books" Liminal

[Drizzt is standing in front of a mirror with the left sleeve of his shirt pulled up, showing off a white tattoo against the skin of his outer upper arm. Of course, the numbers are reversed in the mirror to be IX instead of XI. He's doing his best to hide his unsurety and unease (no fear, of course not!) with a set jaw. The tattoo similar to the imagery on the ends of the bookshelves, so Drizzt is fairly certain the two are related, and others will obviously come to the same conclusion.]

It seems I have been Marked by the Trump corresponding to the number eleven. Does anyone know whom this Trump is, and what the meaning of his or her mark could be?

Justice. At least it is a fitting enough Mark, I suppose, if I must have one.

[Because he's not the only one that's been marked because of this Jaunt. Not that he'll reveal his father or Elphaba out loud.]

Justice. [it has scales on it. ...though Phillip is used to Justice being VIII, not XI.] It represents, um, justice, and rationality, and stuff like that.

So I have heard. [His mental voice sounds weakly amused.] I suppose I must have truly handled my arrest well if Justice has taken an interest.

It's the only thing I can think of that deserved such attention. The rest of the Jaunt was far less... difficult. Quite easy for me, in fact. That was the only time I was in any "danger" at all.

It's not always like that. Sometimes you just have to talk to the right person.

But handling getting arrested well seems like a decent enough way to impress Justice, so.

[Drizzt pauses for a moment in thought. Perhaps he was wrong, then...?]

But how would I know I've spoken to the right person if it is not a deed that causes our choosing?

It depends on the conversation, I think. You just have to prove to them in some way you're a good fit, from what we've been able to tell. Either by doing something, or saying the right thing.

[Drizzt isn't broadcasting this, but he leans against the wall as he thinks about this, crossing his arms as he looks at his reflection. He letting his mind drift to all the conversations he had around him being arrested.]

... Well, I certainly has proven myself by deed at least, but it very well could have been some conversation that made the Trump choose me as well.
