Two things

Okay, so. Really we should have told you guys this as soon as we were back from Achaia, but we were both kind of fucked up about things in, like, various ways and then I was in a dungeon and then I've needed so time to recuperate and shit, but basically here's the thing:

That last week in Achaia, Prometheus, Selene and Helios spent some time hanging out together, just the three of them, and Prometheus told the other two about his suspicions about the sudden influx of foreigners, both the ones that helped us, I mean them, and the ones that didn't, and, well...

Prometheus has us figured out. The broad strokes anyway. So we should probably keep that in mind in case we get sent back to Achaia again.

I mean, since the Travelers actually helped Team Titan, he's probably not going to be looking to throw down with us immediately like the Manticorps did, but it's a factor we should probably keep track of.

Also, uh, this has actually nothing to do with the Prometheus thing, but I figured people might also want to know about this. You know how some of the psychic skills people learn here can, like, enable them to read minds or spy or whatever? And how we can build, like, brain firewalls, but that doesn't tell us if someone's trying to read minds or spy, it just keeps them from doing it.

Well, me and Naoto and Claudia kinda figured out how to tell. Mostly Naoto, but we helped. Not who they are yet--we're working on it--but we've got it figured out enough to that we can tell when people are trying. We're calling it Intrusion Notification for lack of a better name. And I can teach it to people if they want.

Considering the majority of Travelers are only half as subtle as a brick to the head, we really ought to start assuming someone's noticed us previously on any return trip.

At least if we go back there, we'll remember it is a return, assuming a few centuries don't pass while we're off terrorizing other worlds.

There is that. I'd say 'let's hope whoever comes after makes use of the library', but there's no guarantee that will be truly permanent, either.

I'd put it at more of a certainty. Godly powers that play games with mortal lives aren't likely to stop just because one round's drawn to a close.

I don't doubt that's at least half the reason they've acquired us - so that anything huge and terrifying has a soft target to distract itself with while they hide or make their preparations to deal with it.

Only after they pitted us against its cult directly in the first place. Looking for an clever solution wasn't the first step.

I can't say I blame you. Even a reflection of that hell is singularly horrible.

...Worse than being next door to an actual hell, even.

It wasn't so bad in Melasurei. The demons were dangerous, but the danger was less infectious. I expect the failure there was due more to the competence of the Investigators than anything inherent to the city.

Though I wouldn't recommend exploring beyond the gates to Hell itself.
