A few hours into the Jaunt

I've never done this before, but there's a first time for everything.

It's about time to do a check-in to see who are investigating - or at least have an infiltrator persona. My name is Jean Kirstein and... I don't investigate very often.

Apparently, I arrived with an ID that says I'm 21. So I guess age up, or down, is normal in this Jaunt. I also got a surprise guitar and seem to know how to play it...? Anyone else had something like that happen to them?

I won't ask if anyone has an idea of what we're supposed to do, since it's so early on the Jaunt... but it's good to keep your eyes open for any information that seems important.

Um. I'm Pod and I've always ended up as an overlay before, so I hope you all can forgive my excitement. Kiga is with me and he's a ferret. He's only grumbling a little about it.

I remember some things from Newport, but I don't think it will work really well. The money is very different, for starters, and the clothes are... bright.

The money really is different from there, but someone said that it's worth at least ten meals... even more as things are cheap here?

That’s good to know! But it’s really perfect weather for camping; I’d just need a tent in case it rains. I wonder if this much will cover what they cost; they’re probably sold in stores, I think. As for food, I bet there’s some rabbit warrens around and Kiga assures me he’s still more than capable of bringing down a couple!

If anyone wants to camp out here with me, we can make a merry little gathering of it.

Camping sounds like a nice idea. Thorne did suggest making jewelry to sell so we could get more money if needed. That or liminal manipulate a tent...

I think if I tried to make a tent on my own it'd stand out. They're made of different things in this world, I think. But I could probably make things to sell, especially if someone helped me by making plants.

If you have descriptions of what you need, I could probably help you out... but if you want to be sure, someone with more knowledge over plants might be better.

The ones I use the most for wound wash and salves are pretty common--in some places they use them for all kinds of cooking--but I understand. If you want to try and it doesn't come out right, that's okay! I don't think I can make herbs myself, because I can only do simple things and herbs aren't simple.

I'll at least give it a shot. I wanted to check on something in Liminal Space anyway, so why not.

Tell me when you get there, then. I can show you some dried herbs I haven’t crushed yet and describe some others. We can start with that.
