Wow, this is weird. [ she giggles softly and nervously ]

So, um, I had a question for the people who've been here a little longer than me? Um, see, the last place we went, I sort of ended up coming back with a gryphon egg. Aaaand it may have hatched earlier today.

And I remember how to take care of it, mostly! So that's okay, um, just... well, first, I don't really know how to get him food? But also, um, I was wondering what would happen to him if I end up thinking I'm someone else again? Because if he's stuck here and I can't take care of him, he could die, and I really... really don't want that to happen.

Anyway, thank you very much and I'm sorry for taking up so much of your time!

I'm pretty sure I can make real food now, if you let me know what he actually... eats. As long as it's not, like, live animals.

I know a couple other people around here have gryphons or spirit animals, so they must do something with them when they're infiltrating... What're you gonna name him?

Raw meat! Mostly. Um, it doesn't have to be alive, though, so that's fine. Thank you for offering to help, though!

I... haven't really settled on a name yet. I need it to be perfect, you know?

Okay, then yeah, I can definitely do that! I promise your featherbaby won't starve.

...and I get that. I mean. In theory. I've never actually had a pet, but I used to daydream a lot about getting a puppy or a pony or something.

I've never had a pet either, but my favorite book series is the Spirit Morph Saga! It's about this witch named Lisa, and her familiar? He was a falcon, named Archimicarus, and I always wished I could have a familiar too.

A gryffon isn't quite the same, but it's still really cool!

Oh man, you should have been around during Questing Country. We all got to be magical girls, and we got... basically familiars. Only the Oracles' were actually called that, but they were magic talking animals that were supposed to guide us...

Mine was a phoenix. I named him Fawkes.

Woooooow... I wish I'd been there! A phoenix, that's amazing, what was he like? Did you have real magic? What were Oracles?

He was... very dramatic. But sweet, and he did his best to help me out. I kind of miss him.

The Oracles were basically... Champions who grew up? A little? So the Champions' job was to go out and face challenges and fight nightmares and stuff, right? And the Oracles would teach them and guide them. Theoretically. I never talked much to any of them, while I was there.

And it's definitely real magic. I mean. It was a dream world, but everything there was real too... I guess it depends on what you call real magic? I can't just do anything I want with it, it has to be stuff connected to my Champion archetype, and I kind of have to tap into my inner Sailor Moon to make it work, but... yeah.

That sounds like so much fun! Do you think we'll ever get to go back, maybe?

Maybe? I've never been back to a world I've visited before, but I've only been doing this for... um... five jaunts? I think that one was my favorite so far, so I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I might be able to teach you some Champion powers, though. I don't know if you can learn it outside of Questing Country, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
