She's not sure how many other people are even up now, but it's kind of hard for her to get back to sleep when she keeps imagining getting buried by ash in the middle of the night. ]

So, is anyone else a little concerned about the way the mountain's acting lately? I mean. I know Leonardo said it's a few years until anything happens to this place, but... that's a few years in the worlds we know. What if history's different here, and we're here now because of that? What if...

I don't know. It's too hot to sleep right now. I think I'm going for a walk on the beach, if anyone wants to come with.

I'm pretty sure if it goes up, we'll all have time to get to Liminal Space, but the people who live here... not so much. Maybe I'm just paranoid because it's been a while since a jaunt didn't go up in some kind of flames, but...

Not actually a lot of need for peacekeeping around here. It's... actually kind of boring, but as long as nothing actually explodes, I guess we could call this a vacation.

I don't think I saw you at the Colonel's little get-together, but everyone there spent the past two weeks scuttling around looking for mysteries to solve. You think this is all the Trumps' idea of a practical joke?

...maybe. Honestly, who knows what they'd find funny. I'm guessing no one had any luck figuring out whatever we're supposed to be doing here, or they'd have said something by now.
