About a day after the return from the Jaunt

This is certainly the clearest message we've had from our delightful hosts in quite some time. Maybe they actually intend to make us aware of which of them is winning after all, instead of leaving us to guess and grope after everything.

Tell me, I'm curious: was it the intent of our Investigators that the Hermit should win, or was it just left to chance?

We weren't trying to tip it toward one particular Arcana. We just wanted to do something about the disease and the Deepsinger.

Honestly, I think the deck was stacked against Amina in the first place. I was not Investigating, but looking back, all of the main human groups, at least, were predisposed to either wanting to leave or wanting to stay. I am uncertain about the sea groups, as my overlay rather did not like them in the first place.

I do not believe I saw that many Investigators.

That's always been the way we've done things in the past.

It's just not a habit we can keep going forward. Not if we want any say in the outcome of this farce.

Given how quickly the Crownbreakers gave up on isolation, and how loudly so many whined about the few days it was maintained, I'd say your Amina started with an advantage, but couldn't shift opinion enough to maintain it through the plague flare.

However, as I mentioned, my overlay knew very little about the sea groups, so my perspective is likely quite skewed.

I'm not sure how many people knew it was Hermit. Lovers was the one we knew about.

Like Minako said, most of us didn't know for sure who was running the show. We never really had a chance to sit down and noodle it out, and I think everyone who knows enough to start the conversation was either infiltrating or sidetracked.

Well, yes, now that we've got the hang of the new status quo. If we were gonna miss anyone putting in an appearance it figures it'd be Hermit, but we can't take that kind of chance going forward.
