His Grace, King Robb Stark and I are feeling ourselves once more, we are in Liminal Space. May we perchance receive assistance on joining the rest of you? I do not have control over portals. This place may be of interest as well, Liminal Space normally holds some clue as to what is happening. Should anyone wish, I can share what I see inside your minds.

The Grasper... I do not know if it can be defeated. It would have their entire race enslaved as monsters.

Ah yes... I believe a fairy did mention that a new arrival was brought on board one of the ships a bit ago.

Did he run off or are you hoping to find another?

I'm looking to see where on the atoll he was staying, and how he survived as long as he did.

It's north of our current position, but within longboat range. Finding the next passage through the reefs killed some time, and restocking supplies used more.

The interesting thing is what I've found so far.

Although perhaps first we should consider logistics. If you don't think you'll make it back to the ships in time, should we attempt to stall at least one ship from moving on down the channel?

[ of course, that does mean they need to haul the panlong out of the channel so it's no longer blocking it... Robb you fool! ~~Assuming stuff~~ ]

There's nothing to see here. What I've found is... absolutely nothing.

What do you mean nothing? Even if he travels extensively there should be some signs of habitation, shouldn't there?

No permanent shelter. No footprints above the high tide line, though wind could have seen to that. No sign of buried waste, no tools stored anywhere, no obvious harvesting of figs or coconuts, or signs that someone planted or cultivated anything else.

Hmm... Perhaps he's well traveled then? I haven't seen the man but he could be strong enough to swim.

And the waste could simply be buried out at sea.

[ the rest though... He could make a guess at what Tim was driving at, but it was all still a little too soon to jump to conclusions, hm? ]

I don't think he's human. Or if he is, I think he got here just before we did.

It's a possibility. But how would we tell?

I'm afraid not. I've only just recently acquired the experience of projecting what I see or hear although I'm afraid even that is an uncertain skill.

[ hence why he's not using it at the moment. It's just too much damn work. ]
