[It may be a voice some haven't heard for a while... because, well, obviously he was Infiltrating all this time. But maybe you're partying with pirates or so on after everyone's gotten on the island when you hear this.]

...for once in my life, I'd like a normal tropical vacation. First it was bears an' crazy robots an' killing and now it's pirates and krakens an' me bein' a mermaid or Thalassian or whatever all this time... Which is weird, oi, and I don't got my normal legs back completely. And my body's still sore from that stupid squid flingin' me around. Tch.

[It'll be fine by the time they leave this place, right...? He hopes so. But there's a thread of that uncertainty in the mental tone of voice. He shakes it off in favour of excitement, though.]

But this is a good end, yeah?! We did an all right job?!

Hey, someone should get me a coconut, by the way. I seriously wanna eat one before we get dragged outta this place. An' it ain't easy to try and climb trees with these legs.

Yeah, I believe it. I said and thought a lot of weird stuff myself when they screwed with my memories too. Pretty sure that's just the way it goes when it all starts coming back.

Don't know what it's like for everyone else. For me? Yeah. It gets a little less... weird, after a while, though. [mostly after sorting out any funny business with other people, but yuri's pretty sure that could go without saying at this point.]

[IT'S THAT ONE GUY that one guy that seems to have really unfortunate luck when it comes to Jaunts, apparently... Kaoru's been exceedingly fortunate this Jaunt, and in that good fortune he can totally spare a little extra time to get this nerd a coconut.]

Though... I don't know how good it will be for the rest of these people once we return to Liminal Space. [ there were plenty of natives in the crews and the mermaid school, what will become of them when most of their number vanish?]

[While all of them who came to this world might vanish... now that the ships have been sorta wrecked, the ships people and the Thalassians are all in the one place, talking with one another and so on.]

Maybe they'll figure out how to live and move on together with each other... 'n be able to live peacefully on this island.
