[It's time for Regularly Scheduled Babycam. So far Rose isn't doing anything but hanging onto the edge of a castle.]

Guys, this one is really exciting.

[The voice suddenly takes on a bit of an odd tone (or perhaps develops it at all) as he switches from addressing the network directly to speaking out loud and it being picked up by the stream]

Okay Rosie, come here, show them your new trick!

[Rose responds by releasing the castle and toddling over toward Wash. The feed spins a bit when she reaches him and he scoops her up and spins her around. After he sets her down she walks back over to the castle. And right up the side because she still doesn't believe in gravity.]

So also take this as a warning that she has found a way to be even more mobile. Same policy as when she learns portals, just let us know if she gets loose.

[Jean may have no talked to Wash or baby Rose much as himself, but he remembers meeting the two as the harried single seahorse dad.]

She is. We're coming up on her birthday really soon.

[It's hard to put an exact date on it, but it's probably in a week or so.]

Yeah, in among all the murders there she was. Almost poetical really.

Something beautiful born in the middle of chaos and grief. A new life born, to cast a ray of hope into desperation.

That's something Jaiden kept saying in his mind, after he gave birth to the fry right after their mother died. It's a bit similar, even if not quite as bad as Bando was.

[Ironically, the two jaunts were connected.]

I think that might have been how it was for Zoe, if the Arcana hadn't intervened.

[And he appreciates it, in a strange way. At least now he gets to know her for a while.]

Well, my wife realized she was pregnant after a bit. But none of us knew what exactly would happen with a baby here.

[long pause] What d'yall do with the diapers? Ain't no garbage disposal service, right?

Diapers are the easy bit. Just need to get out of sight and smell range in Liminal Space and they go away. There's even a trick to pulling it off outside Liminal.
