Hey everyone, Ambrose here. New folks: welcome to your first Jaunt, it's a much comfier landing than most of us are used to. That said, I'm thinking "too good to be true" and "all that sparkles isn't emeralds" and "no such thing as a free lunch" and all kinds of other don't-take-nice-looking-things-at-face-value idioms.

If you need help blending in please ask. I know there's a few folks from this time in Earth's history, we're gonna need you guys. [ he really wants to ask what a "United Mileage Plus Explorer Card" is, that's one thing in his wallet he hasn't figured out. ] I do know magic isn't a known thing here, so... try and avoid summoning lightning and giant ice dragons and stuff like that, okay?

And-- has anybody recognized any Infiltrators yet? Cuz if not that's downright weird.

Right, divide and... prosper, we hope. May as well take advantage of them giving us some funds for a change.

Not as far as they would have in Brooklyn, I've figured that much out. If we're smart and maybe pool some of our money I think we can still do pretty well for ourselves.

What sorts of things should we prioritize? Medical supplies seem to be a given, but weapons and weapon supplies seem like they'll be more difficult.

They’re not really my area of expertise, but I think Hijikata’s on it. I’m thinking… food and water, and maybe some basic tools too. You wouldn’t believe how many jams a screwdriver and a pair of pliers can get you out of.

Possibly things like bedding, as well, in case we can't scavenge from the hotel for some reason. Assuming we need to.

[The Trumps have generally been good about dumping them relatively close to potential shelter - although they'd certainly been less than gentle about it during the last Jaunt - but this Jaunt seems abnormal in so many ways already, and he can't see them being able to stay here indefinitely.]

...we've sort of got to assume everything, as always. With everyone investigating I'm pretty sure all our bases will be covered one way or another.
