{ OPEN BROADCAST FOR INVESTIGATORS :: evening of the 22nd }
[ Sorry. actually, no, it's Souji, the veterans and Chizuru, at least, should know he's not sorry at all for this one.
Or, actually, maybe he is. It's been pretty quiet tonight despite all the obvious tension that's been building around them and the situation concerning the families and this case, but he's about to change all of that with a greeting that basically is his equivalent to an apology for whatever is about to happen because of his actions. ]
—Hey, hey, Neria-chan [ and everyone else, but she had been the one to make arrangements for their camp, so it's only fair he address the question to her, in particular ] we have room for two more, yeah? I'm thinking a chatty sleepover will do everyone's spirits good right now.
[ yeah he might be bringing you guys some visitors. things just got extra interestingfor everyone's health and safety once their parents find out ahaha.... ]
{ ooc: as usual, threadjack away! }

[ the question is how many movies did he drag poor eren to see that were not stupid? ]

[ that was such a trainwreck if he ever saw one. ]

You might want to remind Armin-kun about it once he's back to normal.

What are you going to do when he gets a girlfriend, Eren-kun, again?

Anyway, I got Armin-kun and Sansa-chan. Looks like we missed a big piece of the puzzle on this one and they're eloping.
no subject
Ah... probably a good thing we stopped them.
no subject
[ there's a break up in the text before he sends an additional thought. ]
Be sharp and ready, though, yeah? I'm bringing them back because this is drawing to a head, but I'm pretty sure we're being followed.

Chances are they'll bring some other's along. Wouldn't be surprised if mom and dad come to deal with this personally, if they get wind. This is like if one or two of us captains abandoned the Shinsengumi—
—Hijikata-san would come after and deal with us, personally, not send the others to retrieve us.

—Ah ha, but, Sio-chan shouldn't worry. It's neither here nor there; we can take them and if they're one of us we will just be more delicate. I can count on you, right?
[ ooc: I hope it's ok to handwave him knowing her name even though we haven't threaded yet since they're a tiny detective group! let me know if not though and I can change it! ]
no subject
We... can't let them get back if they saw you. Because then both families are gonna be against us. So, uh. We should catch the follower. And. Oh! And, and let them know that, that we'll be willing to turn in the people that escaped. We're willing to trade them for information. Of course we're not going to do that, but, that way we have leverage, see?
[ooc: it's just fine! Seems sensible to go on that basis anyway.]

We've got a couple of bigger guns we could take to show them we mean business. The ones in the violin cases that that guy was calling 'Chicago typewriters.'

Anyway, I've got the guns ready when you are.
no subject
Uhm, but, Jaeger-san - if we have to shoot, just, let me do it first, okay? The Typewriters are really cool but, but my gun is... even better.

[Did she just say that, truly she appals herself.]

Especially if it's another infiltrator.
voice;
We...do have room.
[But that doesn't mean whatever he's doing is a good idea.]
What's going on? Who do you have with you?
voice;
Are you going to yell if you don't like what I have to say?
voice;
No, I won't yell.
[She wholeheartedly intends to keep that promise, too. For now.]
voice;
So, I have Gravesend's heir and Bensonhurst's heir. Looks like they might be a couple of lovebirds amidst all the family tensions.
Think we missed something big here.
voice;
You-- How did you manage to...
[Souji.]
How did you find them? Where did you find them? Do they trust you?
voice;
But, the telling part of that is their 'trust' has them believing that their chances of surviving are better with me than with their families or any of their associates.
And it was kind of a coincidence. [ He'd been looking to stalk Hijikata some more, starting to get concerned the longer time passes, but Armin was important to him, so when that's who he found it seemed like a poor call to just leave them as sitting ducks. ]
voice;
[Said lowly across the network, there's a certain vehemence to her words. Neria may have been young when she was conscripted, but she would never condone children to be drawn into a world of murder. That these two children are part of it in their own worlds is bad enough, but that they were given such painful roles again in another world is just cruel.]
I'm glad you were able to bring them to us. But how was it a coincidence?
no subject
Who is it, Okita-san..?
no subject
That kid Hijikata-san is hanging around, the Gravesend heir, and the heir to the other family, too.
no subject
Eh? [ The surprise is even audible in her thoughts, yes. ] But isn't it dangerous to bring both of them here? Surely their families will come look for them..
[ And Chizuru doesn't think they're really equipped to handle two dangerous groups at the same time right now. ]
no subject
Yeah, but they have nowhere else to go. I can't leave them to be punished if it will put Hijikata-san in danger.
no subject
I'll help out then.
[ Truthfully, she's not even sure how yet as she thinks it, but her default response is wanting to at least do something. ]
Thank you for finding them, Okita-san. Do you think they seem hungry? Maybe I can make something for them to put them a little more at ease.
