Every last Titan or spirit that was confined to Hades' realm has escaped that prison. It lies unguarded and with no wardens.

I may not know the most about this Pantheon...but this is starting to sound like they had outside help. We're all the Titans sealed in there, originally? Or did some escape beforehand​?

So the question is: did they empty it to free those beings to commit all the various attacks we have seen or has it been emptied because it being empty will serve a particular purpose? Do they plan to use it for something else?

It means that all the Olympian gods, the entire dodecatheon, inclusive of those in the land of the dead, are afflicted. And all the Titans they held prisoner have escaped.

Prior to their release, the bulk of the Titans and spirits were interred in Hades. If the myths are to be believed - and here, I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt if not to recite them in the Red - Prometheus was chained to the mountain and tortured.

I should note that prior to his ordeals, Prometheus was ever a friend of man. He stole fire from the Gods, so we might be warm at night.

The weather went nuts, there was an earthquake, rioting, general chaos. I'm not as good at calming a crowd with knives as opposed to a gun though.

No one that I saw came around going how they were a titan or anything. Nor were any giant people going around that I saw.

I think calling those "attacks" needlessly implies they were purposeful. They seem to be more... what's the euphemism of the hour? "Collateral damage." When those with dominion over the elements lose that dominion, and it isn't immediately corrected, you can expect hiccups. Deadly ones.

This is not to say they should not be corrected. Merely that calling them "attacks" implies a malice. This requires only carelessness. Perhaps that makes things worse in your eyes. Perhaps not.

However, the Hades and Persephone I saw didn't have the control and care to make tea. Whatever has disrupted any alleged control they have has done so by making them quite unable to act and plan.

I have heard reports that the Olympians were in a similar state.

There's malice, yes, but not I think at humanity. Everything intentional we've seen has been directed at the Olympians by the Titans. Everything else, terrible as it is, has been fallout.

For all we know, the Arcana are the ones who created this whole mess to begin with. It may not be a fight between the Olympians and the Titans, but it is both of them against the Arcana.

At least if Prometheus really is involved, your affection for humanity will not be taken as eccentric or unusual.

I do not think the chances of saving lives with an appeal to the Titans is anywhere near zero, Doctor, and on those grounds I am appraising you of these dangers. Your plan is a sound one. I simply want to help you play the odds.
