some grumpy grump hates kids
[No formal introductions here since Fenris is preoccupied with the noise coming from down the hall.]
I returned to my quarters to find the others rooming with me to be missing and shrieks echoing down the hallway.
Perhaps it should be of no concern, but it seems some of the younger ones among us are murdering each other collectively in some strange ritual. I am uncertain of if it would be wise to intrude, though advice would be appreciated as to whether or not I should bolt the door and bar them from returning as punishment for their unruly behavior.
[Not that he hasn't already done just that.]

Fun's fun! [Souda please.] Not all of us can go out drinkin' or whatever.
'Sides, the point's to stay up late. [...] There's no way in hell Mioda's gonna let us sleep until she passes out anyway.

There are other less intrusive ways of staying up. [Like drinking more liquor from the suite bar and brooding in silence. Or at least trying to because kids won't stop screaming down the hall. And, really, as far as Fenris is concerned, he doesn't care if the children break into the liquor. There's no such thing as a drinking age in Thedas.]
Then someone give this Mioda a sleeping draught and be done with it. The screeching is abominable. Besides, there is liquor available in the rooms, so it is not as if you need to leave to take it. Perhaps a little alcohol is all that is necessary to bring your little party to a close.
[Fenris, no, don't—]

Sleeping drau-- oi oi oi oi... what kind of things are you suggesting... There's no way we could do that! An' we're not givin' her alcohol! Who knows what kind of things she'll do...
[Besides that... Kuzuryuu wouldn't let them drink alcohol when they were underage. Even though he's a yakuza. He won't let them drive, either...]

You say that as if she will murder you if she does. Perhaps there is cause for concern after all. Tell me, for what reason should I not break down the door now?
no subject
M-murder?! [Flashbacks... but Fenris doesn't need to know that.] ...ahh, no, there's no way that could happen. An' you don't gotta break down the door since it's already open anyway.
[Souda.]
It'll be quieter once we're done with the horror movies, okay? [This appears to be an attempt to compromise.] An' I'll try to yell... not as loudly.
no subject
Doesn't mean I can't choose to do so anyway. [Yes, breaking down the door would make for a lovely surprise wouldn't it? Especially with all the horror movies. Perhaps he should acquire that axe from the box in the hall as well. And wear a mask.]
So it is going to end, yes? And you will all be quiet then? [Pause.] I appreciate that you are attempting a compromise, but I find little reason to trust your singular word when there are... [Another pause as he tries to recall the screams and attempts to count the voices.] ...at least a few other present.
no subject
There's no point! An' then I'd have to fix it!! [AND THAT'D BE A PAIN. Why would you even. Then you would have like a gaggle of teenagers to deal with all screeching at you.]
Eventually... it'll end... haha... ha ha ha... an' then we'll all be quiet. I just don't know when...
no subject
Good. Then you can practice simple labor instead of how well you can scream in terror. [As if the kids would really do this instead of being angry with him, but Fenris is hardly being serious with his threats, even though he likely sounds it.]
How many more of those...movies are you lot intending to witness?
no subject
Aah-- I ain't sure. We can't watch more than a couple more, I think.
no subject
You can't? So you can watch fewer, can you not?
no subject
I can but it ain't all up to me! It's a movie night, it's s'posed to run late... I think.
[It's his first... one...]
no subject
It's already late. So perhaps it should end. Now. Before I decide to crash your little party.
no subject
[Really you're just going to bring bad things on yourself if you try to crash it, Fenris. A lot of squawky youngsters. And Ibuki.]
no subject
At any rate, they were empty threats, so when Souda reacts the way he does, Fenris just laughs in amusement. You should be grateful he found the bar in the room and is drinking again, really.]
Defensive, aren't you? Do not fret, I shan't be spoiling you fun tonight, even if it is rather tempting. Just know that if it occurs again, I may not be as generous.
no subject
I-I'm not... [But he'll mentally huff satisfaction.] Fine, I get it, we'll remember it!
no subject
[Yes, feel how pleased he is at your reluctant albeit inevitable submission to his request!]
And you know that you really shouldn't say we as if you can properly speak for the others, yes? You'll only bring more trouble for yourself by doing so. Which reminds me that I should take your name so that I can hold you to your word.
no subject
[... he doesn't want to give him it. 8( He doesn't want to be in trouble.] Well, y'know... it's uh...
[He's trying to come up with a fake name...]
