A few hours into the Jaunt

I've never done this before, but there's a first time for everything.

It's about time to do a check-in to see who are investigating - or at least have an infiltrator persona. My name is Jean Kirstein and... I don't investigate very often.

Apparently, I arrived with an ID that says I'm 21. So I guess age up, or down, is normal in this Jaunt. I also got a surprise guitar and seem to know how to play it...? Anyone else had something like that happen to them?

I won't ask if anyone has an idea of what we're supposed to do, since it's so early on the Jaunt... but it's good to keep your eyes open for any information that seems important.

No musical instrument for me...then again, I specialize in organ compositions, so that would be a tad impractical. The ID is a nice touch that I'm surprised we didn't get in Newport. At least it got my proper first name, but I'll probably have to just suck up Americans mispronouncing it for the whole Jaunt.

I suspect there might be some involvement in a bar, too, if you've been aged up to 21 - it's the legal drinking age here, I believe.

Hell if I know. They both had opening acts--Symulakrum for the Audio Outcasts, Wild Cards for the Shooting Stars--but the former's pretty much vanished. My overlay's convinced they were a bunch of no-good cowards, that kind of thing, but I dunno.

Everything being so cheap makes it easier but it doesn't help much when people could call me like the embodiment of gluttony or something.

Really??!! I was so disappointed when I saw the calendar but this is starting to sound great.... It depends, surely she has a lot of friends, who aren't themselves to celebrate it with her right now but -- well, if she's up for it anyway.

Great, then we should absolutely throw a party for all three of us~! Tomorrow is fine too!

And speaking of later parties, we should throw another one of these once everyone is back in Liminal Space, we can make that a mix of reunion party too for any friends, who aren't themselves right now! [ there, problem solved because that was definitely a problem in Usagi's opinion. ]

That’s good to know! But it’s really perfect weather for camping; I’d just need a tent in case it rains. I wonder if this much will cover what they cost; they’re probably sold in stores, I think. As for food, I bet there’s some rabbit warrens around and Kiga assures me he’s still more than capable of bringing down a couple!

If anyone wants to camp out here with me, we can make a merry little gathering of it.
