Uh. Hey, folks. Coupla things ... kinda connected, I dunno.

First, anyone heard anything about this missing band? Symulakrum. Sounds like half of the fuss is them goin' missing last night...

Second ... 'cause of that ... there was an empty spot in the schedule. And someone [not naming any names Maria] signed my ass up for it. ...Dunno how she pulled it off.

But ... yeah, I can sing. Pretty good, if I say so myself. I've got a bunch of tapes 'n some of my music shit in the car, but I came here for a break, right? ... 'Casey' me not 'Kanji' me. That ain't gonna cut it for a big show like this.
...So. This is gonna be a hell of a rush, but anyone up for getting a band together?

Could probably use a competent manager. Maria's trying to be it at the moment and ... okay, she's older than usual but I don't think she knows how things work worth a damn.

I'm not familiar with Maria, but if nothing else she certainly sounds... vivacious.

I've already made contact with some of the actual band managers around here; I'll see if I can't arrange to fit you and whoever you find into some practice slots before we get too carried away. What name has Maria registered you under?

Cool. It's Casey Greene, but - yeah, it's on the paperwork as with a 'K'. [It seemed like a good idea at the time okay.]

Mosta the stuff I've got is ... kinda punky pop? So something that fits with that... I figure we can talk this stuff through.
