Uh. Hey, folks. Coupla things ... kinda connected, I dunno.

First, anyone heard anything about this missing band? Symulakrum. Sounds like half of the fuss is them goin' missing last night...

Second ... 'cause of that ... there was an empty spot in the schedule. And someone [not naming any names Maria] signed my ass up for it. ...Dunno how she pulled it off.

But ... yeah, I can sing. Pretty good, if I say so myself. I've got a bunch of tapes 'n some of my music shit in the car, but I came here for a break, right? ... 'Casey' me not 'Kanji' me. That ain't gonna cut it for a big show like this.
...So. This is gonna be a hell of a rush, but anyone up for getting a band together?

Heh, awesome! Gonna have to see what sorta vocals we can use here. I've got some stuff that could use another singer, I think...

We can always write more songs if needed. I think there's some poetry books we can use too.

Exactly, so why not go all out and try our best even if it's setting we're not familiar with.

Exactly. We can put on a concert, it can't be harder than putting together a wedding.

I was infiltrating at the time, but ... didn't you guys have longer than a coupla days to sort the thing out?

We had about a week or so.

I don't think band perforances are quite as complicated, but maybe they are...

Well, we ain't gotta organize all the catering or entertainment or - [gatecrashing-] - stuff. Just gotta ... gotta get a set list worked out, get some practice, work out what to do on stage, get everyone some gear...

So it's like the end of semester at school. I can pick up food and coffee for us.
