[Video] Can't complain about much these days

[ This thing is brought to you from Jean and Korra's room. Weirdly enough she's standing in the middle-ish of the room instead of sitting somewhere.]

... Is it new arrivals time? Or did we just get a nice, new Liminal Space, that I honestly wasn't expecting to be like this for... whatever reason they might have for giving us this? Not that new arrivals always get nice things.

[ No really, is this supposed to say what the next jaunt is going to be like? Because Korra is one of those people, who totally expect it to be something bad after fun trip to America. Not that this would the first time when Liminal time is a space or more longer than usual but maybe it's not. Huh, guess it's just a thing to find out eventually. Unless the horrible thing about next location is that it might be Empress vs. Emperor, because that'd be heartbreaking. Okay, time to get to the real point of this post...! ]

That's surprisingly not what I came here to talk about! [But it can be talked about here too, while she lets those thoughts slip on this too. Anyway, Korra grins.] Hi, if you are new here or if we haven't met before even if you're not new, my name's Korra. So, I probably should have done one of these sooner and maybe I should make these once in a while to let all of you know about my best non-human friend from home, who has been here for a while now...

[you know, because that'd probably be good unless she always has time to go around Liminal... And whatever Korra is about to say next, it gets interrupted by this on screen for everyone to see. One moment later she's holding the dog's face next to hers and the dog is also looking at ~~Jean~~ anyone watching this with a friendly, curious look on her face.]

Naga is a polar bear dog -- yes, that is its own species back in my home world, where most species seem to be a combination of two -- but despite her looks, she is the most friendly polar bear dog ever. If you happen to run into her, she loves cuddling, petting, scratching, all kind of cute physical affection that --

[She is getting interrupted by Naga again when the dog suddenly licks her face before backing off ... Korra is not even trying to stop her, when Naga suddenly jumps on two paws and tackles the girl to the floor.]

Obviously means things like kissing, hugging and tackling too. So yeah, real danger here. ...No but seriously, if she is walking around without me because that happens sometimes, she certainly won't mind if you want to pet her. Aaaaand we offer polar bear dog rides and sledding too whenever there's enough space for those. Or you know, if anyone there, new or not, wants to see us less accidentally, that can be easily arranged too.

[This is getting kind of long and what else should she say? Anyone can ask anything about the dog once this is done anyway, so... Korra gives her dog a kiss and then seems to be whispering something to her. Naga looks at her, cuddles a little more and then her attention suddenly goes to Jean. Or their audience, they are still here and anyone can see the dog suddenly rushing to kiss his face too. Because of course it ends like that when they're doing this.]

[ part two ]
[ . . . . Except they return later with a small, fluffy puppy on the screen, who looks very happy and excited while Korra is laughing way too much right now.]

Or she could eat so much ice cream, that somehow she ended up being really small for now. I guess she can stay this way until this change lasts and I'll just try to keep in mind that she's not very easy to find whenever she goes somewhere right now. ...So, if you see this puppy around? Still her, still seems to be herself too except the size.

[Once Jean is given the okay to cut of the livestreaming, he holds out his hand for puppy!Naga.]

Come here girl.

[Naga wastes no time with doing what he is telling her to do. In fact now when she is this small, she tries to do that thing called running to Jean. Once she gets there, she is already cuddling to him as soon as she can.]

Oh, so we are both using that line now. [Korra smirks. It is cute, she is just teasing.] 'Now' I say as if I have never heard you saying it before. If I didn't know better, I'd ask which girl do you mean?

[Naga gets all the pets and cuddles when she comes over. What a good puppy.]

That's always a nice mystery to solve, isn't it? I could mean either. Or both.

[ She is the best female puppy around!! But then that'd be her own and Korra's extremely biased opinions on it. She'll gladly take all the petting and cuddling and she'll want much more of both while she is also trying to give him a lot of kisses. ]

I think you mean both most of the time whenever we're both somewhere else than somewhere really close to you.

[ Except whenever the dog stays away and gives them time to cuddle with each other or whatever, surprisingly she's not taking all of their attention all the time. ]

Unless Naga is stealing you from me. [ Oh no, what a ~~teaser~~ tragedy! ]

[Naga used kiss attack - it's very successful and has Jean laughing a little. At least he seems a lot more cheerful than he has seem for the few days.]

She's doing her best to steal all my attention, that's for sure. [Pets and cuddles continue and he kisses Naga's forehead.] Though if you come over maybe you can still save the situation.

[ Korra is smiling at him now when he seems to be in a much better mood than he has been. ]

You say that as if she's not trying to do that to one of us most of the time. [ or pretty often anyway. Naga will try to wash his face. ] Maybe. Or at least I can give her some complicated feelings on which one is she piling on if we're both there.

[ That said, she'll come over right now and Naga looks like this is getting more exciting for her. More pets!! More cuddlers!! ]

[Jean greets Korra with a a hug as he continues to pet Naga... and his face is wet thanks to someone washing him.]

Hey, if you're going to wash my face, do it for Korra too. It's only fair.

[Jean gets a hug back. ...and that's nothing that Korra isn't used to from people who she hugs after Naga has been there before her.]

Yeah, you should totally do that or else I'll think you're becoming his pup now.

[But the pup is enjoying the pets too much right now and maybe she can hear that Korra is kidding!! Plus it's not like she understands everything, that humans say.]

[Jean will give her more pets and scratch from under her chin.]

Looks like she's just gonna enjoy all the cuddles and pets she can get.

She's so cute! And big, like, really big. I'm not sure if I want to even ask how polar bear dogs became a thing... [ It sounds complicated and weird. Probably too much for someone like Lena to understand because that is more Winston's type. Doesn't mean she won't be curious about it.

What does she eat?

Thanks, I think so too! [Korra grins.] She's big enough to carry at least four adults at a time, so yeah, big girl. Though I met her when she was just a cub or pup -- not really sure which word to use even when they're from my home but either works... And you know, I'm not really sure either, they've kind of always been there but the rest of them aren't tame at all as far as I know.

[ She could think of a biological way for that to happen around certain ages buuuuuut she won't try to think about it too much since everything back in her world sounds like it's an actual species and not something like two species decided to combine and see what kind of babies happen. Oh well... Someone else can definitely do the thinking about that.]

Anything! Kind of literally, she might at least try anything and we're both all eaters. This place didn't even let me call her from home until I got the skills to make nutritious food in Liminal Space, so I can feed her whatever.

Sounds like she grew up with her. That's really sweet! [ Lena wishes that she had a pet and a relationship like the one Korra and Naga has with one. But, her life would have made her too busy to actually spend time with an animal.

She hums in thought. An animal that can eat anything sounds really neat. ]

Makes sense that they did that. Be bad to bring a creature here if you couldn't feed it.

Yeah, we found each other when we were little! She got accidentally lost from her pack during a storm while I was sneaking out at night to play with polar bear dogs after I heard her howling. So the next morning I instantly told my parents that she needs a new family now and asked if I can keep her. [ and no, her parents couldn't say no to her most of the time. Never ever when it was anything about Naga.]

[Korra really likes the omnivore part too, yep, makes things very easy. Except maybe in times like these, when she's trying to rush to eat ice cream whenever they leave their room ...but that's fine too.]

Yeah, I think I might have seriously considered a few times if I couldn't do that because it'd complicate things for her. Not that I don't trust others, who have that skill too but it's ... different when I can make anything for her myself.

Ohh.

[ Lena shuts her mouth quickly because there is something she wanted to ask, but felt like it might be wise if she didn't. The last thing she wants is to ruin Korra's mood because that won't be a great start to a new friendship. ]

Yeah, I can understand that. You prefer to make sure she stays in her care and it's a personal feeling. [ It just feels better to know that you can look after your loved ones by yourself. That is how she is able to look at it. ] Name's Lena, by the way.

I will keep an eye on her if you need a sitter Korra. Usually, I am not a dog person, nor a bear person, but Naga is adorable any size and I think she was worried finding me upset.

Oh, you can absolutely dogsit or play with her whenever you want, I'm sure she'd love that and I would gladly be there as often as I can too. Thanks, she loves you a lot so I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that and I'm glad you think so about her. Just let me know if she ever troubles you or anything, or you can tell her to go find something else to do too. [Because Naga is crazy for attention and it might be really rare but even Korra has to tell her to chill sometimes.] Yeah, she always worries when someone's upset, she's been like that ever since I met her.

She did help my mood, she's good at it.

She's really cute! I kind of miss my dog now.

Thank you, she really is! Sorry for making you miss your own dog, I missed Naga all the time before I was able to get her here. But hey, you could probably summon your dog from home too. [because wow does she know the feeling of missing a fluffball from home extremely well.]

Really? What do I have to do?

Ah, she has come to join us!

[It's been a while since they've talked, but Drizzt knows about Naga. His mental voice is normal, even though he's currently tiny.]

She is magnificent, even in a smaller size.
