Okay. The baby can do this whole redefining gravity thing outside of Liminal Space too now. She can teleport. She can talk to Infiltrators in their heads.

So what I need to know is... what else do we know people can do with Liminal space or the network that I should be worried about?

And if anyone has brilliant ideas as to what to do about it, I'm all ears. Or direct psychic connection, if we want to get technical.

You...may be able to learn how to interfere with, or disrupt, her ability to manipulate liminal space. Sabetha talked about it once, remember? And we have...wondered a little, recently, about how such a thing might be done.

I've been picking up everything I can on both sides, so I'm up to giving it a shot.

Okay. So...I was talking to Minako the other day, and she had this thought, that you could take other people with you across the jaunt divide by 'unhooking' them. It didn't seem quite right to us, at least for that particular purpose, but...it did occur to me that that might be a good way to cut someone off from affecting liminal space alltogether. But we have not yet worked out, logistically, how one might do such a thing.

I know how to do it from the network. That's almost like... well, unplugging an old network cable. That built off being able to poke around a lot though, so I'm not sure what's the equivalent for liminal space.

Perhaps we are...missing something. Some intermediary step, some smaller scale ability, which one needs to know first.

There could be... there seemed to be a lot, to be able to do it with the network. Building off blocking portals doesn't seem quite right though...

Perhaps blocking off portals or some other ability isn't the right step. Perhaps what we need is more...a disruption, an interruption. A temporary jolt that's just enough to break someone's connection to liminal space for a moment.

Like stopping one thing instead of cutting them off from Liminal Space completely.

Something like... taking that fifth sort of wall to prevent portals. But making it a lot more solid.

[Well, that's an interesting way of thinking about locking down portals. It's not how Matthew does it - he regards it more as blocking up the cracks in the universes - but it makes sense]

We were thinking of it as more like kicking someone in the shins, so that they lose their concentration and possibly fall over.

And then they can't do whatever it is they really shouldn't be doing right now.
