This is Armin, attempting to reach the Travelers on walkabout from the jaunt in Harrogate.

What's going on over there? Where are you, and is everyone all right?

We're still working out what's going on over here. It's 123 years later than the last time we were here, the year 2020 - in many ways it seems like a modern earth so many Travelers are familiar with. We arrived during the funeral of a local beloved celebrity. There are a number of ghosts hanging around, and several Travelers are investigating or infiltrating as ghosts. We're investigating several leads as to the cause of this, as well as to the hints of eldritch dealings at work.

I can only keep this connection open for about half an hour. I may be able to contact you all again in a few days - but I have to use psychic bridge to speak with the investigators on the ghost side of things as well, so that's not a promise.

...Is Eren around? [Because, of course, that was second half of the motivation for making this connection - and for bringing Mikasa along.]

It's bad and it's only going to get worse as they always do. Don't worry about me too much, I'll be fine. ["I'm fine" would probably be her last words in ANY condition though, so that's ... a lie, sometimes, not right now.] And that's good, you stay safe with them too, okay? [They might be on a safer walkabout but hell as if a cynical girl like Mikasa is going to trust that to be safe either.]

I will be fine. Elves are adaptable. [ Though she's not so sure with the heat, but yeah not telling Mikasa that. ] And I'm small enough that there are probably more places to get into if things go wrong.

[ And if they do get bad, she figures she can help get people to liminal before helping the fighters.]

[ . . . . . . . . . . . small people hiding when things go wrong? Kinda tends to hit Mikasa extremely hard inside her walls but there's no way in hell she's going to let any of that show in the network. Nnnnnope, her childhood is a very private matter. ]

Yeah, you should find a good place to hide and go to liminal space from there if that happens. And go look for those places before anything happens.

.. ... ........................ spend some time with Jean for us too. [ TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO, not that she doubts that she won't spend time with him but even more time that way... Also maybe hug him for her and again for Armin but she's not going to say that. ]

You know you do not have to ask on that one. I tend to think of him as a brother. So it would be harder to stay away. Besides who else will keep him out of trouble with the rest of you over there?

I'd say sorry but think I'll go with I'm glad to hear that instead. [.... Who else would keep him out of trouble?] Not the girl with the polar fluffball, she's reckless like Eren as far as I know, so I trust you to do that.

Why be sorry? All of you may be from a different world, but from what I have learned, it is not too alien from what I know. [ She really needs to learn how to show video so she could show she's giving a small grin. Maybe she'll be asking Armin at some point.]

Korra? She is nice though, or at least has been to me. And I like the polar bear dog. But I will try my best to not be too reckless so that I can keep an eye on Jean. That is if I don't get too sidetracked by Shiro telling me stories about space.

Because I was asking for something, that I know I don't need to ask when I know that he's like a brother to you. [ but on the other hand saying sorry when she knew that brother part seems weird too

aaaaand yeah, she knows Korra's name and good things about her from Jean but she'll leave that at the next line.]

I'm sure she is... Nothing against the dog either, she's a great Erensitter. [Fact from Eren's very nice girlfriend, you're welcome Eren.] ...Jean is pretty used to reckless people around him ...You could just take him along to listen to space stories whenever he's not busy with something else.
