How many people here have studied Colour Magic? [definitely a more normal topic. Somewhat awkward, a little abrupt - as if he's only just had it pointed out come to the realization that he can ask other people what they did.] And which Colour did you decide on?

I've taught multiple different people Blue Magic, so there are several of us now.

I chose it for a specific purpose for which it quickly became obsolete, but though I am personally more suited to Indigo magic, I have not regretted the choice. It is indeed quite versatile, if you choose your spells with care. It has more than once been incredibly useful, in a number of different circumstances.

I ain't about t'deny he's prickly as hell when he first meets people. He grew up expectin' t'get murdered on a daily basis, right from when he was a kid, that kinda colours yer interactions with strangers somethin' fierce. He don't trust easy.

But yeah. We need people who can do the sneaky and the undermining shit. You try to face something like Bernthotep head-on and you get double killed.

I suppose I'd better defer to you on that, hm? But the similarities are very true. Likewise, Yellow magic overlaps heavily with Green and Orange in emotional meaning while still being very different in effect. I suppose that's why Orange was so helpful and my Overlay raised a new Green, come to think of it...

Gods need people to believe in them. But ideas like this exist either way.

Yeah! We weren't maybe as strong as the Olympus gods yet when we were Illuminants, but I think they'd been around longer than us. And I'm pretty sure the Trumps are older than them.
