Welcome back, everyone. Usually there's no dangers in Liminal Space, but this one might be different - has anyone checked to see if we can breathe the water, or if we need to breathe at all? Does anyone else have any ideas about the symbolism?

More importantly, I see some blood on the tiles by the biggest waterslide - is anyone injured?

... How did things end for you, in the Jaunt?

It's the least disconcerting explanation I can think of for the brothel fittings.

The Devil. That's the opposing force of one of the gods worshipped in the world we just left, isn't it?

[fridgeninja]

That's right. But in the deck of cards it comes from, that isn't what it represents. It's the inner adversary - all the impulses that control our judgment if we let them.

Hmm. Would they count as internal impulse if the worst were stirred by outside forces, I wonder?

[fridgeninja]

I'm not sure. But there are parallels in our last Jaunt, I think. I wonder if anyone might have encountered a Trump, this time...

[amadine]

Or a rogue one, perhaps.

[fridgeninja]

What do you mean?

The dream-sending, the madness that overtook the players - it seemed remarkably similar to some of what we've experienced as Travelers. We don't know what the Trumps are. Perhaps they opposed that entity because of a shared nature.

I heard someone say that about an earlier Jaunt as well.

I wonder what kind of beings the Starmovers were...

The Star...ah. From the Jaunt previous to this one?

[fridgeninja]

That's right. It doesn't seem likely they were human, at least.

I can't speculate on that, I'm afraid. I was indisposed during that particular Jaunt.
