Just when I thought we maybe wouldn't need it. [That part's in a muttered tone, so Claudia probably didn't mean to broadcast it.]

Wrinkle in the plan, guys, Beatrice moved the amulet. She made a really big deal about storing it under guard in the top of her tower, so my guess is it's anywhere but the tower. We don't have much time to work on this. Thoughts?

My first one, frankly, is 'tase the bejeezus out of her and loot her while she's unconscious,' but there's no guarantee that would turn up clues.

...You know, in most cases I'd have more qualms about using something like that, but if anyone's gonna understand after the fact, it's Beatrice. That's a good place to start if you think you can be unobtrusive while you're at it.

I'll work somethin' out. I'm not exactly subtle right now, but considerin' nothing is subtle right now, that might not be much of a problem. If all else fails, I can zap her brain, too.

And if it looks like a good idea, I still have the ability to bring her self back, too.

She'd probably be more helpful as herself, if nothing else. Sounds like Altair might try that so you may not have to.

And if worse comes to worst, I absolutely will tase the bejeezus out of her and loot her unconscious body.
