How does one return to their true form after they have "received" one from the previous Jaunt?

I would have gone verily insane in such an environment. But it is my wish that all robots--Synthetics--be treated well. They are, in the end, still people.

The good thing about being a Synthetic is you have a lot of time to be patient and try to persuade people that you're actually a person.

There was another Synth there who was more aggressive about it, though. I'm not sure if he was an Infiltrator or not. He wound up on the other ship, and I didn't see him around Liminal Space afterward.

Sometimes Travelers only stay with us for a short time. Perhaps that was his fate?

Maybe. I do kinda wonder about it, though. And what happened to the actual Synth after we left. I hope he survived that mess...

Space was pretty chaotic, even for a Jaunt. "We evacuated a whole planet, and then a bunch of incredibly weird stuff happened, and then I helped deliver an energy-being baby out of the ship's guns" is probably the least confusing summary.

I have yet to experience space myself. It certainly sounds interesting, to say the least.
