Is anyone familiar with Diabolin computer hardware?

Actually... Jules is a hacker--like, wanted by the FBI levels of hacker--and he was a Diabolin at least once on a Jaunt, so. Maybe he would fit the bill.

Unfortunately, he's currently Infiltrating as a trashy gamebro stereotype.

I met his overlay earlier. Else I would have been looking for him with this.

Is there anyone else you know of, that I could ask?

Claudia is also good at the hack, but she was a Hecatite in space when we escaped from Junkworld, not a Diabolin. I'm not sure if it's enough.

I guess we could always de-Infiltrate him.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we'd all be good with that. Hell, it would be a reason to de-Infiltrate him in itself.

There's a limit to how many people we can return to themselves though, isn't there?

We usually get to do one a Jaunt per person who can do it, yeah. Sometimes a second. I haven't used mine though--and I probably am not the only one who hasn't.

I know that part of being able to do it is to be able to read people's minds. And I can do that. But once you're reading, what's the best way to proceed from there?

Okay, so, you should be able to see that there are two minds in one body when you do that, right?

Basically, what you'll need to do is pull the mind that's there as a passive guest... well, forward. Does that make sense?

That does make sense, yes! I'd want to focus on the one that's much less active, right? Er, if I don't get it on the first try, does the person tend to notice that you're doing it?

Yes! Alcoholic ones. What's the syrupy red stuff? Grenadine? It does not go well with whiskey.

I wouldn't know. The few times I drink, it's normally straight from a bottle, or whatever someone's handed me.

I'm not usually that picky, either! And I usually prefer beer, if I'm being honest... but if he can mix something bad enough to make me dislike it, that's pretty bad, don't you think?

Not as bad as if he'd made something I wouldn't even drink, but yeah, pretty bad.

While it's appreciated, this... is something best left to someone who already has experience, if at all possible.

After I'm sure the data is safely copied, however, if you'd like to have a look at it, having more than one person who knows how to use this particular species' type of technology would be useful.
