So yes, it's Naoya here. The long and short of things is that yes, I am literally Cain. And before you vampires freak out - I am not some long-dead vampire come to yell at you or whatever. That didn't happen in my world. As for the question of 'how the hell does that even work' - I reincarnate. I remember every lifetime. Other people reincarnate, but they don't remember their previous lifetimes. It's a curse. Literally. Three guesses who gave me that one, the first two don't count.

... And for those of you who are like 'what the fuck is a Cain' - according to folklore, I invented murder. Which is not true, the way the story is written is incredibly biased. I can give details if you want, but it doesn't really matter.

I am not sure that three entire religions and their branches count as simple 'folklore', but that is neither here nor there. Regardless, we have had a number of well known historical figures here, and history is always biased by those who write it.

As for a way to lift my curse... well. There's one solution in my world, a way that is currently closed off to me. As for solutions here... I'm not certain. I'm open to suggestions, though I'm not certain if they'll work. I've tried many methods in my world, but it's too... old and stubborn, if that makes sense.

That depends on the nature of the curse, but there may be something in color magic that can theoretically lift it.

It also depends on exactly how far you would be willing to go to lift it.
