I have the list for Travelers who have gone out of ambit. I haven't given this list for quite some time, given the extended period between the last two jaunts.

[There's no preamble - he doesn't like doing this and hasn't had a good week. He doesn't have anything to say he thinks people would want to hear, not right now.]

Her overlay was supposed to marry someone else, but she wanted to marry Imriel's overlay, so I made sure that they were promised to each other instead. [There should be triumph in her voice; there is none. She's just angry.

And wonders if she can blame Judgement.]

Aha...ahaha! Seriously? That's incredible! The casting here never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for handling the magical matchmaking duties when I couldn't be there, truly.

[Maria is her friend and in love with Imriel, and their overlays were interested in one another.

Also coming up with ways to bully their parents into agreeing to the union was FUN.

And she's still furious. But this place isn't the right place to talk about that. So she continues on with the topic at hand instead, trying to tuck the anger away.]

How would you have matchmade? [Is that a word?] Done magical matchmaking? [That at least might be a good story. And tell her some more things about Beatrice.]

Ahaha, well, I already put a fair bit of effort into helping three out of four of Maria's cousins find a match who loved them back home. She comes from an aristocratic family, you see, or the nearest capitalist equivalent, and most of them needed help finding a way to follow their hearts instead of their parents' desire for financial alliances.

[She didn't get the opportunity for Ange, but she's about 90% sure Ange is dating one of her demon sidekick squad anyway.]

I preferred the subtle when it came to George and Jessica, or at least subtle as far as they were concerned. Mostly, their paramours just needed to be convinced that the power of magic was in play - one that she had it on her side, the other that he needed to protect his love from it - and they did what they needed to do from there. It was a neat arrangement, even if it got a tad complicated trying to do that and several other things at the same time...

[She sniggers - not as joyfully as she would normally, but she is slowly starting to manage to distract herself. Beatrice's story makes her imagination draw pictures for her, and it does sound like it would have been fun to watch, and perhaps to help push things around a bit to create those convictions.]

I just gave them prophetic dreams. They saw people or beings from their past tell them about the happy future of their children and made them think that it was a message from the "Goodly Ones". [Which, technically, it was. In as much as any of the travellers were Goodly Ones.]

A classic, truly a classic! It's too bad the Ushiromiyas were so worldly or that might have worked on them, too. Natsuhi I got with a similar idea once, but Krauss and Eva at least would have ignored it out of spite.

They were really backwards and religious on Sunday. [Very convenient, now that she thinks about it.]

That's the impression I've gotten so far. I haven't looked back through the network archives yet, but it sounds like I missed quite the opportunity to be a miracle-worker.

...Maria had fun, right?

I'm pretty sure they considered it a sin. ...Except for during that one festival.

I'm a bit sad she couldn't see Questing Country again. I know that was her first Jaunt, and it meant a lot to her. But thank you for giving a happy ending to the story she was playing in.

Do you know if anyone else who came first for that place left now?

I believe it was also Thorne's first. I'm not sure about anyone else, I'd have to ask around.
