I made it back safe. It looks like they're willing to use force to get what they want, so be careful around them.

I also brought back a data pad the grey program was using, if someone wants to look at the data he was checking with me. It might be infected, so I'm not recommending an Interface.

I need to recharge, but if anyone wants to get their hands on the pad first, I can wait that long.

...does he appear through supernatural powers? Psychic senses, quaestor’s Bonds as in Questing Country, network Control Panels?

He's supposed to be investigating, but nothing I say reaches him. I don't think he's connected to the network while he's like this. But I can see him on the Control Panel, even if it's not much help on what's going on.

Our Questing Country bond is also off.

Was he not investigating a similar phenomenon with Jean’s Overlay?

I think whatever Jean has might be catching. I do hear so much about viruses in the Network.

He was. I'm trying to see if there's anything I can learn about what they do while they're in this "mode". To get an idea what this virus does.

Whatever it is, it can cut us off our network for at least eight hours a day.

I'm pretty confident that it is, yeah. I followed him without encountering any other programs on the way. And the way he's built.

Sorry to say this, but I think your friend is responsible for spreading some sort of a virus.

Son of a- Okay, I've seen programs like that before. It was back when Liminal Space was showing us our possible futures. I saw myself in this world, being attacked by programs with grey lights and cloaked identities just like that. I hadn't said anything before because I didn't want to distract anyone from the real point of the Jaunt if the vision ended up being wrong, or to make people assume these programs are hostile if there was any chance they might not be.

[Under normal circumstances, Eren would have been yelling this information from the rooftops by now. But right now Eren's impulsiveness is held in check by ERR-N's experience and responsibilities. He is a lieutenant of the Revolutionaries, here on what must be a peaceful and diplomatic mission unless they're given no other choice but to fight. He cannot be responsible for setting off conflict, even indirectly. And he knows very well that some of his fellow Travelers would hear about his vision and not bother to stop and ask themselves if it was real, assuming hostility and possibly attacking first - normally, he'd be one of them.]

[Without warning his mental tone shifts a bit, becoming much more annoyed. His overlay might be helping him be more reasonable about the important parts, but for this moment his thoughts are all Eren.]

I told him not to Interface with anything suspicious, dammit! But no, he had to let his curiosity get the better of him! I should have asked someone to pull him out of his overlay too. If RAA had half the common sense Jean does, we wouldn't have this problem!

That doesn't sound very promising... but at least they haven't seemed hostile so far, so maybe there's hope that nothing happens-- Quiznak.

[At least not right now when Pidge is being beckoned forward they don't seem hostile. Pidge is mostly cursing her failed sneaking around at this point.]

You're sure he interfaced something to get like this?

[He's back into military mode the moment Pidge gets spotted.]

Stay on your guard, and do not accept an Interface from him. I'm not sure that's how it spreads, but it's the most likely method. That's one of the only things RAA would be a null unit about. It's how the Automata infection spread on the Grid before they were Repurposed, too.

I know. I won't accept an Interface no matter what.

[Even if the program is clearly trying to ask her to do it. She's quiet for a long while, focusing on the situation, but keeping the stream on for everyone to see.

Do you think I'd be able to recharge there? I'd need a portal out there though. Can't make one.

There's plenty of us who can, and sleeping in Liminal is a time-honored tradition. We can cover it.

Then I'll also come over to Liminal for a while. I don't think the grey ones would risk attacking inside the Rejuvenator, but... I'm not taking a risk.

What they'd risk probably depends on what they're after, but we can't find that out without tearing up some code.

Yeah. I mean, having me on team grey might be a bad idea. Shiro and Matt both know what I can do, so... yeah, I'm not riskin it.
