The highlight of his career as an Oracle

So, as I promised Sara I talked to a resident Liminal Horse, thanks to being an Oracle and all. Well.

[It's easier if he just shares a memory.]

Anyone have any clue what this was about? I mean, I could try talking to other horses, too, but I doubt I'd get anything useful from them.

And yes, that's me.

This still leaves 'how far back' - if they're dropping Back to the Future references, past is a pretty sure bet, and also they have three compelling reasons to look back while going forward to see who wins is probably cheating - and 'what do they want from it.'

We probably can't reliably answer either of those, but especially not the former, since past Moebius it's a lot of question marks.

Offhand, 'see if we can stop Star or Temperance or Hierophant from ever dying' seems like a decent reason. Or a test to see how much they can mess with time and Not Regret It.

God, 'before Moebius' would be the best way to do this without US catching on...

I don't think it's safe for them to get to Temperance. Eldritch bullshit. Even they're hesitant to tangle with eldritch bullshit.

It really would be, wouldn't it?

Up against... Harrogate stuff. Yeah. That scares them, doesn't it?

Okay, so Star or Temperance or - or maybe Fortune. And everyone else thinks it's gonna be on, uh, West Mars.

...that movie didn't have them go to the Wild West, did it?

The first one didn't, no.
