I swore never again with cows. And it's even cows on a frontier colony. Don't suppose there's a chance of it switching them over to beagles...

Most kids don't get any milk once it's not from their Mama. That's bad.

Rose and I are both investigating and are looking to work out who else is too. So far this doesn't seem too different from home. Closer to Earth That Was, but the resemblance is still uncanny.

Five weeks, maybe six. There was one thing that barely took one week, but that hasn't happened again.

I hope they weren't asking for any particularly sweeping changes for that week.

If this follows true to form, then, taking Erebus down entirely may not be an option, especially if they're the only ones supplying offworld necessities. Getting their claws off of the food supply would at least be a start, though.

Plants as well, if anyone's capable of reproducing seeds, although given the conditions here they'd have to be very hardy plants.

They might've gotten their hands on more plants than anything else already. Some shit's harder to keep in one place.

So far I've mostly been seeing grasses and cacti, but I haven't strayed into very many indoor spaces yet to see what they might have there.
