[Jaunt - forward dated to mid-week 2] Stormy weather

Okay, so I've been trying to reconstruct my memories of our first time here, admittedly without a hell of a lot of success so far. But I did just remember this: There's a storm coming - a real nasty one, from what I've managed to scrape together. If our cattle thieves aren't either properly prepared for it, or aren't in the caverns by the time it hits, they're probably gonna lose most of the cattle.

I remember havin' a nightmare 'bout that one. Hopefully it won't be so bad, but...

I got some hurricane ninpou I can use t'keep the worst 'f it at bay, but it don't last a long time an' like hell is it gonna be subtle. Can't say how well the cows might take it, neither.

I've got a little more, but I've been doin' this a lot longer than you have.

Things've already changed a little from last time. They got all the cows this time, last time some of 'em got away. The storm-- I remember that pretty well. It's gonna last a couple days, and it's worse at night.

Think there might be somethin' that happens at the end of the canals, but I only saw it from a distance, cuz apparently I'm just kind of fucked off somewhere else not helpin' at all. Do I ain't sure yet what it is, but I'm tryin' to piece shit together.

If all us vets from near or around this time wanna get together and see if we can build some of this shit up ourselves-- not just the Jaunt, but the people-- I've got the Forge open and I'm spendin' a chunk of the night in there, since it's so damn cold on the surface at night.

Still not very helpful. What were you up to, during this Jaunt? How much else have you gotten back, besides this storm shit?

From what I can remember, I mostly tried to stay out of the way while I was getting my bearings. I'm not exactly cut out for cowpoke shit now, and I sure as hell wasn't back then, either.

It's kinda like pushin' back obnoxious shit in Liminal, except it actually makes a wall. As for how long... it depends. I could maybe push one close to an hour. [And that's a big maybe. It's no permanent solution, but it might buy them a little time.]

[And here's a voice that hasn't been heard from yet this Jaunt... or at all since the Liminal before last. But given that Raidou generally doesn't use the network if he can possibly avoid it, that's not necessarily unusual.]
