So I just had an idea that would really cramp the enemy's style in any hypothetical showdowns that may or may not still happen.

Who wants to give Erebus the biggest collection of laser pointers this side of Jupiter? Anyone who's up for downloading a trick from the later timeline's last jaunt can join in, and frankly the more of us hit 'em, the better it'll probably work. Their own damn fault for over-relying on one kind of weaponry.

From what I've gleaned via drone hackery, probably more than we can hope to hit, but at least it'll inconvenience them a lot.

Basically, it's fun with loopholes. In this particular case, shifting the emphasis off 'weapons' and onto 'laser.'

When I say 'download,' I mean it literally. Our last jaunt was inside a computer, so passing the cool stuff on requires a direct transfer of information. Once you have it, you can take what a thing is and make it slightly more or slightly less of that thing, playing off what it's similar or dissimilar to.

Via physical contact, which is another trick in and of itself, but I don't think it's necessary to actually run the program. As long as I can pass it along to you, you should be good to go.

Taking a thing and making it slightly more similar or dissimilar to what it already is - in this case, shifting the emphasis in 'laser weapon' off 'weapon' and onto 'laser.' Fun with loopholes for the whole family.

It's a literal data transfer. I should be able to pass it on with no trouble.

Definitely, but like I said earlier, if you get more than you bargained for from sticking your brain into something, that's on your head.
